Guest Crymson Report post Posted November 18, 2007 ...it IS ******* Hasek!!! Hey Dom, close you ******* legs once in a while!!! Hey Kenny, I got an idea, lets waste $4 milllion towards our cap on a useless ******* washed up goalie!!! As soon as Bryz was available, Hasek should have been waived. Make a corporate decesion Kenny, grow some balls! Hasek.....OUT! Give me Osgood/Howard for the rest of the season... Dom had a bad game, but at this point I think it's high time for you to shut your trap. You're obviously overreacting.
Guest Agalloch Report post Posted November 18, 2007 So goalies arent paid to stop pucks from landing in the net? they need 5 other people to bail them out? forgot about that. Exactly. Apparently it's never a goalie's fault if a goal is scored as long as it isn't a super soft one (which, um, a couple of them were tonight, but that's beside the point). If I was paid to save fifty footers and let in everything else, I'd be Hasek right now. You have to ******* make good saves. You can't just let a bunch of goals in and blame it all on the defense. Hasek is ******* terrible.

Z and D for the C 712 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 Brodeur is living proof that you need a team in front of you to win this season. Luongo too. All good goalies play bad when there team does. Our team played amazingly.
datsyukismyfriend 4 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 okay, i had reserved judgment on hasek so far this season, but it's clear he doesn't have it. bench him.

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 You might want to leave Loo. Not a good place to be in if you love Dom. Lots of not needed bashing. eh, it's fine. They can say whatever they want. I won't lose faith in him. I do hope they can figure out what's going on, though. Unless Dom has some rare type of hockey Alheimer's, I can't believe he's forgotten how to play goal, overnight. He works as hard as he ever did. I do believe he would do better (and his numbers would look better, too) if he saw more than a dozen shots per game.

It sort of balances out the Hasek slappies on the other side of the argument.
ShanahanMan 473 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 This is the definition of an angry loss. I sincerely hope Babcock unloads on Hasek. He looks slow, old, and out of sync.
Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 this board has become a joke. Anyone who thinks Hasek has anything to do with this loss is just an ignorant fan who doesn't know the game of hockey. Having to face 4 short handed breakaways in one game is the fault of the TEAM, NOT THE GOALIE. I'd love to see Osgood in this situation. All of you would just be fawning over him and saying it's not his fault. You guys crack me up. EDIT - First time in Wings history they've let up 3 shorties in one game. Yeah, all Hasek's fault here guys... ......even still, he's the player paid millions to stop those shots.

Hasek hasn't done that once this season. Redmond said it best. Hasek isn't himself.
Guest Jeremy88 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 I'd rather have Berkoel in net than Dom... Hell, I'd rather have one of those cardboard goalies you can tape to the net playing instead of Dom

If we had 9million dollars in cap, KENNY STILL WOULDNT MAKE A MOVE. Get it through your head that this is our s***ty team till the deadline. This is gonna be hilarious, Dom should be waived/sent to the minors thread's are gonna be crazy until tommorow.
Guest Agalloch Report post Posted November 18, 2007 I still can't believe people are saying it's fine that Hasek gives up goals as long as the opposing team makes a good play. They're paid to stop that s***. They have to do more than stop shots from center ice. Look at Khabibulin tonight as an example, and compare him to Hasek. ******* pathetic. Vincanni 1 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 I can't remember a team playing worse and winning a game than Chicago tonight. Hasek is ******* terrible, and unless he makes a big 180 he needs to be sent to Grand Rapids, I know our PP blew ass tonight and the GWG was a total fluke but Hasek needs to make a difference. His league low .869 save percentage is actually going to drop from tonights pathetic effort thus indicating no signs of improvement. I'm not giving up on him just yet but even the biggest Hasek nuthugger has to admit he was awful tonight.

freshy 181 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 Hasek was sub-par. Looked old and tired out there. Leading up to that penalty on Rafalski Dom was flopping on the ice like he was wearing tennis shoes. By the way I thought Rafalski was suppose to be an upgrade defensively from Schneids...He has been as bad as Kronwall defensively this year. Christ, Meech was our best defenseman out there tonight. datsyukismyfriend 4 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 He looks slow, old, and out of sync. absolutely. he's been terrible all season. i don't know what happened over the summer, and i really don't care, bench hasek.
GuloGulo 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 The Wings don't any kind of goaltending from Hasek. That's just it. Nothing.
RedWingedKitten 9 Report post Posted November 18, 2007 The game was not the Wings fault, and it was not Haseks fault. We outplayed them by a wiiiiiiiiddddeeeee margin. Whoever said we lost this game because of Hasek was right and wrong, he should not have to deal with break aways, but he should be able to stop more than 25% of them! One of their break aways was no ones fault, (the one off the board) another one was when lidstrom tripped, (not his fault) But the one Refalski let go by was Refalski's fault. We out played them, we are the better team. Relax guys.
