It was a bad move for so many reasons. 1.) Bell was out with an injury 2.) McCabe was out with an injury and 3.) Tucker is playing like a girl.

I used to think Maurice was a good coach, but the bad coach in him is showing this year.

Yeah, it's pretty pathetic that Belak wouldn't be dressed against Philadelphia of all teams. As lately as a few years back, the Leafs still had a tough team that dressed multiple enforcers, but look at them now. Maurice has got to go after this season. They need to make Tie Domi their next head coach.

Downie should be suspended for 20 games since that squad is on double secret probation. Make the team pay a very hefty fine and force out the coach.

It wasn't just a sucker punch, it looked like he tried to thumb him in the eye. Regardless, at least Philly finally got some other form of punishment with Hatcher's headhunting actually injuring his own player in that game.

Im going on this bandwagon. I think Steve Downie is a legend. He makes teams think about dressing enforcers. Enforcers being dressed = more fun hockey. More fun hockey is good for all

And to whoever said how much is the NHL going to let Philly get away with, well, what have they got away with? And this was just a little 'kindergarden' punch. Theres no need to investigate it, a double minor for roughing was fine at the time and its fine now.
