All I was pointing out was that the Avs were missing some big players too, especially offensively. It's a big part of why they've sucked, much like our injuries are a big part of the Wings sucking. True, but you gotta think their team pretty much rely on Joe & Paul for everything. They don't have the depth & can't fill in for those type of players as well as the Wings can. Its not controversial, Im just saying. With Lidstrom out, Id say its even worse for us. We just lost 30 minutes of playing time there. Our top 3 Dmen gone, and we're playing with 5 guys on the back. I was just kidding because so many people had refuted it with our injuries. It wasn't specifically aimed at you. We're definitely hurting worse defensively, but the Avs are hurting worse offensively. Absolutely it does, but the Wings depth up front is somewhat comparable to that of Colorado's. When you eliminate the Wings top 3 Dmen it more than balances out for Colorado being without Sakic and Stastny.
