He's looked at ease on the PP which is a surprise. Chelios has played amazing, Lilja has even made a few hits, Lebda has played faultless and Quincey I rate very highly. I know the team spokesman is making a statement that the knee injury is "minor", but until there's something official from the team doctor, I'm still worried about the extent of the injury. If you watch Lidstrom skate off the ice after that hit, he can barely put any pressure on his right leg. Welcome to the board! A rest might do Nick some good. I think if hes out for a couple weeks, since its never happened before, I think well see some of the best hockey from our players in a long time. If Nicks out, there will be a lot of stepping up.. Basically that fighting has a place in the game and will prevent violence and cheapshots better than suspensions. He pointed out Stoll, I think it was, and his little cheapshot after an empty net goal, which led to several guys trying to beat his ass.
