I am so looking forward to Downey and Laperriere going again when they get out of the box. I hope they do, and I hope Downey kicks his ass again. I was all ready to smash something when the Wings door opened up after McLeod got booted....if Downey had gotten a double misconduct, i cant even describe how pissed i'd be. Until Kronwall, Rafalski and Lids are all back, I'd love to see him replace Sammy on that second unit. Maybe even permanently if Lebda is moved at the deadline. Said it in another thread: Babcock would kill lil Tony. He looked like he wanted to eat his head. As long as Lidstrom isn't out for long at all this is a GREAT GAME for the Wings... I could swear he said something like "Don't talk about my mama" but I don't think that was it.... Babcock could take any coach in this league. Did you see the look on his face? I sure wouldn't f*** with him. I would love to see this team in the playoffs. We'd beat their ass and the rivalry would be back on. I wonder if Mac is watching this saying "I WANT IN!"
