I want to go on record for saying this: I don't care what team you root for. At all. As long as you're not stupid about it. And today, I would like to say that the Red Wing fans on this board certainly outclassed Hawks fans today. One poster from here goes to the officials and is told to get out. jpfalcon09 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2008 I, and I think along with every Wings fan, has been been waiting for Hudler all season long to pick it up, but it's not happening. He's been a real disappointment this season. At this point, I hope Downey is in during the playoffs, and Hudler is out. If Hudler isn't going to score goals (going on 10+ games again since he's last scored) he's completely useless to have in the lineup. Might as well insert some grit, especially since we'll be more than likely playing teams like Nashville or Vancouver, both of whom are filled with dirty players. Oh well. On to the next one. I agree. The thing that I can't comprehend is how, even with relatively solid minutes the last 2 months or so with all the injuries, he's been damn near invisible. He's been getting 2nd line minutes and PP time, and there's been a steady decline in his play. He got that awful hooking call tonight because he was lazy backchecking, just a liability right now all over the ice. The best I can see Huds getting in the playoffs are 4th line minutes, assuming everyone is healthy come Game 1. As for the two birds without a clue, the Hawks season is done, if we decide to play you then we win but your a insignificant team to us, im sorry, lol at the blackhawks giving 200% when they play us. As one Wings poster noted, the Sharks have had games like this now and then. Unless it is a pattern, there really isn't cause to push the panic button. The Wings are the #1 seed for a reason -- they are the team to beat in the playoffs. It is funny how one team does so well against a particular team. I guess the Blackhawks have had the Wings number of late. Here's hoping the 'Hawks not only make the playoffs but climb up to the 7th spot. I'll leave it to Blackhawk fans to explain why. Hasek's back in tomorrow, hopefully the team washed off the suck tonight in the showers and is ready to move on. It's vital that Dom is able to be solid these last two games and be ready for Game 1. I hope the team recognizes this as well, I'm sure they do. Hopefully tonight's game can show guys like Hudler that they need to step it up when push comes to shove. The big boys can't be relied upon every night to bail out the offense. Tomorrow should be a game where the Wings tighten things down, focus on defensive coverage and get their secondary scoring in gear. Ozzie is playing against Columbus. Dom is playing against Chicago on sunday or whenever it is, Babs already said so. Edit: Nevermind that. I figured Oz would still get his last start of the season, but apparently not.
