Quenneville out

Not that I'm a big Quenneville fan, but this was a team with a ton on injury problems all season and postseason. Yet they still made the playoffs and survived to the second round. If he did that in Chicago or Toronto they'd give him a raise.

One has to ask... was Quenneville ever really IN?

The one I feel worse for is Joey Sakic. At least Stevie took his ride(s) on the Coach Rollercoaster at the beginning of his career. (Did he retire yet BTW?)

EDIT:::::

(Tori) Spelling

(Kelsey) Grammer

(Leonardo) Dicaprio

no, he's going to take time over the Summer with this family to decide whether or not he wants to play another season. I am reallllly hoping that he does! Either way, whenever he decides to retire it's gonna be tough to see him go.

when theo started game 3 i had a feeling his job was done in colorado. come on, budaj was MUCH better (save game 4 when the series was already over and the wings looked like they had 11 skaters on the ice) in games he relieved theo. when a situation like that arises, you MUST start the tender who gives your team the best chance to win when the series is still in reach. trying to prove your a good coach by praying that your number 1 can pull a few out and make you look good is just plain stupid. he had this coming sorry to say.

decimated by injury or not, the goalie debacle sealed his fate.

Quenneville must have nightmares of the Winged Wheel. We've run him out of two consecutive jobs now.

That said, he's never been a top-notch head coach anyway. He's a great assistant, but he doesn't seem to have that extra level to lead a team deep into the playoffs. Poor decisions at poor times.

I'd feel mildly sorry for him, but after rewatching the highlights from that 2003 Wings-Blues brawl (when he sent all his guys out to goon it up with us up 6-2 late in the third period), I can only chuckle. See ya, Q. I hope we meet again.
