I believe that all men should be brand loyal to at least one product. For me, it's Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I've been drinking it since high school (go figure) and has gotten me through some tough times in my life. I love all beer, but if there's a Sierra Nevada in the house, it's got my name on it.

I just had a six pack of the SN Kellerweiss. I gotta say it is an excellent weissbier, and unlike the rest of their products, I bet I couldn't blindly identify it as Sierra Nevada.

Ugh. I was not a fan of the Kellerweiss at all. But, I prefer American style wheats over the Euro style, so I'm not surprised I didn't like it. Now the SN Torpedo IPA on the other hand, that's some good stuff.

I'd say Abita and St. Arnold are probably the brands I'm most loyal to. It would be Bell's and Founders, but sadly I can't get them here :(

If you see this some where, try it. It's excellent!

Hahahaha. I spent about 6 months in a small town in Nova Scotia a few years ago, and drank so much of that. Ya gotta pronounce the name right though for the locals. It's pronounced "keets"

Talk about a headache in a bottle, though. Sheesh.

I'm usually not a fan of the special fruity, nutty, or spicy brews but the Abita Pecan Harvest is great. I just don't remember what time of year it comes out.

I think it's a fall beer, but I'm not 100% positive on that.

i love all beer, usually good beer, but lately i've taken advantage of the $14.99 30-packs of PBR at the local liquor store. i guess the playoffs make me want to increase my quantity!

rip off, you can get that swill for 12 bucks a 30 pack here, or genese, or any other macro crap, but the kicker here is a beer called beer 30 light, it is 7 bucks for a 30 pack.

Anyone ever review or read reviews of beers on beeradvocate.com?

you have some learning to do young BeerAdvocate. I would say hit up the Jolly Pumpkin Brewpub, that place is godlike.

have fun on your journey though

not a ripoff at all here in the NYC area. IMO PBR is a half step better than the bottom of the barrel crap and is on par with bud (or tecate, which you can occasionally get deals on cans here) and better than miller. the only thing you can get cheaper here is schaefer, and usually natty light, keystone, and the beast are about the same price but are worse. there are few good liquor stores around here but there is one great and huge selection liquor store that recently opened near me. after dropping $20 or so on a couple sixpacks every weekend it was time to be cheap since we are trying to buy a house. as it turns out, the process of buying a house makes you wanna drink more so it all works out!

I enjoy a wide-range of beer, but my favorite beer in terms of what's widely served is PBR. I still maintain that, out of the tap, it can to toe-to-toe with most other beers on the market. I really enjoy Founder's and routinely fill my growler with various beers, though my favorite, the Oatmeal Stout can't be put into a growler.

I really enjoy Leinenkugel's various brews, too. At the moment, Summer Shandy is my go-to Leiny.

I'm also a big fan of good hard cider, and Strongbow has a stranglehold on the mass-market. I went to a place in Traverse City called Tandem Ciders that was amazing, but unfortunately my growler met an unfortunate end before I could drink my specially-mixed cider.

My new favorite beer: Pliny the Elder (Russian River Brewery)

I happen to just be lucky enough to live close enough to the brewery to visit regularly too :P
