Does anyone else find it strange that Terrien has elected to start Hall in place of a healthy and excited Gary Roberts??? This guy's 4th line presence actually gave me something to be concerned about... I've been watching the pens closely throughout the playoffs and he has been outstanding on the forecheck, and with creating chances... Hall on the other hand... I really can't think of ANYTHING that he has done

one bit of confidence for this series is that Babcock wins the coaching battle by a landslide

That was very surprising to me too. Roberts is a hungry veteran, and well I don't exactly know anything about Hall, I don't see any reason why he'd get the nod.

Are the any Pens fans that can expain?

I just love being back in the finals. Seeing the GDT say 'SCF' gives me goosebumps.

We have waited a long time (for Wings fans standards) to be back here, lets all savour and enjoy being back were the Wings ought to be. 4 more wins till ultimate glory!

LETS GO WINGS!

Hmm. Dilemma. I was just called on my cell and told that my name was drawn for one of the two seats for "Best seat in the house" at Buffalo Wild Wings for tonight. Its one of two recliners sitting in front of a giant big screen tv.

BUT.

They want to show the NBA game on it, and will have NHL demoted to the smaller TVs with no sound on. When I said "Its the Finals" they said "Oh. Well, we will see whats up tonight then." Its kind of sad that I won this seat, and I'm probably going to turn it down... I guess I will see what is happening when I get there.

Robers has Pneumonia per puck podcast.

Can't wait for this. The boys know how big it is for them to come out an get a quick lead, jump on their inexperience and crush their confidence!

GO WINGS!!!!!

Tough call...GR is a warrior...and a folk hero here in Pittsburgh...alot of fans arent happy....Hall is big on the PK...and a good face off guy who has been very very solid for us....

Coach Therrian has made all the right moves with this young club..I wont start questioning him now

Penguins 13, Red Wings 1

Johan Franzen does not play, and causes a stir when he appears at the postgame presser holding his own detached head in his hands. "I'll be fine," Franzen said through the disembodied head. "I'll probably play in game two. They have some more tests to run."

Members of the Penguins staff carried over one hundred bath sized towels to the visitor's dressing room from the team bus. Asked what they needed so many towels for, Penguins forward Ryan Malone answered, "To soak up Crosby's tears before they melt the ice."

Red Wings forward Kirk Maltby, usually gracious with reporters, was in an uncharacteristically sour mood and seemed agitated as he answered questions. "Sorry, guys. It's just that I was the biggest dick in the NHL for years, but Ruutu has taken that away from me and it's going to take me a while to learn to accept it. It really stings."

Anyone know if there are any pregame shows on anywhere?

I was about the ask the same question..

I'm watching the NHL Network at the moment, but I'll probably switch over to

NASN in 20 minutes.

Other pre-game shows?
