Malts must have done some crazy training in the offseason. I can't remember the last time I saw him play with so much jump.

It's how he got out of changing baby diapers. "Sorry honey, gotta go... work out..."

Is it just me, or has every deflection somehow been beneficial to the Leafs? If it deflects off anyone in the Leafs zone, it seems like it comes out past the blue line. If it deflects off anyone in the Wings zone, it stays in and finds its way closer to the net.

I think Malts is starting to realize he's tougher then he plays, and that he needs to fight for ice time, and the tougher the better. At least thats what I hope.

No, he realized that he's expendable, and that the team just sent down guys like Helm and Leino when they didn't want to because the team is classy and loyal. So he is doing what he can to prove he deserves that loyalty.

Datsyuk and Hossa need to practice together, eat together, work out together, and s*** on the same toilet. That last minute play where Datsyuk and Hossa in the corner would've been executed perfectly by Hank and Dats. Not the same with Hossa and Dats. They need to work together a lot more to get that top line clicking.

Zetterberg has magic strings that keep Datsyuk on his feet? NO WAY!!

My opinion of the Leafs: If you can't beat them, play the trap.

And our penalty kill is utter crap right now.

Guest Jeremy88

if the wings can capitalize on some luck, there's no worries. but if all the bounces keep going in toronto's favor, idk...toronto might walk away with a win

What ever makes him play better and start laying people out again, works for me!

Try separating Hossa Pavel and Hank... See what happens.

I dont know. Hank, Franzen, and Hudler have looked more and more comfortable as the game has worn on. Pavel and Homer have looked so-so, but Hossa still doesnt know where to look or where to go. I dont think that would change regardless of where hes playing. Hes still working into the system, so as much time as he can spend with Datsyuk, the better. If after a few weeks, its not working out, then we know its the chemistry, but right now, its just lack of familiarity.
