WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted April 25, 2012 Since I'm not a fan of Harry Potter I'm guessing that cloak makes you invisible. Norwegian Red Wing 107 Report post Posted April 25, 2012 (edited) yep.. a person I thought was my best friend.. He was in trouble last year, and I agreed to borrow him $900.. The deal was that he should pay me back half before x-mas 2011, and the rest by the end of january 2012. Now the calendar show April, soon May, and I hav not recieved sh*t... Now this is a 30 year old man. A father. So am I. Father of two. So I need the money.. He´s got all sort of excuses.. "My salary is late" .. "My bank has troubles" .. "I´m sick" ... Wasnt sure what to do, so after asking for them every single day since March, I finally contacted his dad..telling him about the situation. Hopefully I´ll get my money back soon.. ..ok.. TPBM has also lost a good friend because of money-issues (PS: sorry if the english is poor) Edited April 25, 2012 by Norwegian Red Wing
WizardOfOz30 1,886 Report post Posted April 25, 2012 I have not, but that is generally because I feel bad asking for it back. I've never loaned a large amount of money to someone before but have borrowed from my parents and paid them back as soon as I was able because I don't like that hanging over my head. My philosophy on this matter is never loan friends money (if you want to stay friends), but if you still feel like you want to give it to them do it as a gift knowing you may never see it again. The person below me always recommends service people(doctors, hair dresser, repair man, etc.) they like to others.
