55fan 5,133 Report post Posted March 12, 2009 Oh, yes. I've lived in this house for 12 1/2 years, and I have met the guy across the street, and have a waving acquaintance with the folks down the block. Beyond that, no one even knows I'm here. I keep up the yard and don't have a lot of company. Quiet as a church mouse and all that. The person below me wishes they could crawl back into bed where it's warm and cozy. Yes, that would be lovely. It's raining a bit here (which we like) and cold (which we don't like). It was 39 this morning. Good number if you're a goalie. Temperature-wise, not so much. At least I got to wear my favorite corduroy pants one more time before summer hits. TPBM lives (and has to drive to work) where traffic makes you want to shoot yourself, or someone else. The person below me likes their feet. I do, actually. They are big but I like my toes, especially. I keep the nails painted pretty so I can wear my cute flipflops. Mostly, I appreciate my feet since they get me where I am going and rarely complain about much, even when I run about in the gym and make them very tired. TPBM likes romaine lettuce better than iceberg lettuce.
