YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 The worst Home powerplay is killing us. And Osgood should've had that.

haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 crap. Nice puck movement by the Bolts on that cross-ice pass. The Wings sat way back on that pk.
hulldatzet 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 Actually I'm referring to the fact that against NYR, Anaheim, Pittsburgh, and San Jose, we have only one win - an OT win that we nearly lost by blowing a lead in the third period. you talk about how our wins are close games, well so are the losses so you cant just tell one side of the story
Guest Crymson Report post Posted November 14, 2008 f*** off, Detroit. f*** right off. Let's abandon the team!
Guest Agalloch Report post Posted November 14, 2008 LOL, Wings still suck. Where are all the people saying "GUYS WE'RE ONLY A QUARTER OF THE WAY THROUGH THE SEASON SETTLE DOWN"?

haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 The worst Home powerplay is killing us. And Osgood should've had that. Really? I thought the first one was a little soft, but that was a good shot off a cross ice pass. Ozzy had to come all the way across his net.
Lovin Jiri Fischer 147 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 Anywho, I do agree now that McCrimmon needs to be fired. Move McLean back to defense also, please. I don't understand why when we had the best defense in the league last year, they move the defense coach in the first place. Don't fix what isn't broken. akustyk 84 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 Ugh, Kronwall again. Standing in space instead of staying close to his man. are you blaming Kronwall for not being able to cover two guys when 3 other Wings player went for one of Bolts? get real, man... TEX-WING 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 So thats about 9 goals against in the last 3 periods
haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 get ozzie out of there! I know it's easy to focus on Ozzy, but that pass went from one side of the ice to the other through 4 wings players. I'd still like to see what the penalty was on Zetterberg. The one on Stuart was a joke.
The Mule 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 Not a good period. As usual, we need to wake up and play hockey.
Guest Four Report post Posted November 14, 2008 I'm done watching tonight. It's frustrating enough not understanding my science homework let alone losing 2-0 in the first to The Lightning
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 Only way Ozzie stops that is if Jokinen hits him. He had the whole top of the net and the short side to work with on the cross ice feed. Kronwall left him wide open, the forward had the right point covered so he had nothing to do other than take Jokinen instead of standing in space defending no one. YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 you talk about how our wins are close games, well so are the losses so you cant just tell one side of the story Are you really that much of a homer? Or just an outright optimist? You need to open up your eyes or actually watch the games. Our record is the only pretty thing about this season. And when you look at the EASY schedule we've had so far, it doesn't mean much.

Doggy 130 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 Damn, you guys cry a lot. It's embarrassing. Does anyone here not like the Wings just because they win?
YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 Rafalski needs to wake the f*** up. The Wings are doing anything with their offensive chances and have played crap defense again and he basically says "we're playing well. theres nothing we can do?" Thats ridiculous. Have some freaking accountability.
haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 I'm done watching tonight. hulldatzet 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2008 man i never understand sports fans who are so negative. why even be a fan if it makes you upset all the time. the wings are a good team. cant just go into a season and expect there to be no competition and they have all the other teams figured out. Guest Crymson Report post Posted November 14, 2008 Are you really that much of a homer? Or just an outright optimist? You need to open up your eyes or actually watch the games. Our record is the only pretty thing about this season. And when you look at the EASY schedule we've had so far, it doesn't mean much. Given that we cannot have any effect whatsoever on how the team plays (aside from perhaps a marginal effect by supporting them), isn't being an "outright optimist" the best way to enjoy oneself? Yeesh.
