I think they know that they are; however they desperately need a wakeup call. Maybe knowing that they'd get ousted quickly in the 1st round if they play this way

Maybe we need to pull a "Major League", take away the plane until they start playing defence. Put 'em on the bus.

Given that the team is #3 in the NHL, I'd say this is probably a bit overboard.

I agree that there are problems with the defense, but the team is winning games. Sorry if it's not the domination you're used to. Keep in mind that no other team has had that luxury for the past many seasons.

I try not to be negative, I really don't. I've been waiting for them to step it up and it has not happened. You are right, we are completely spoiled cheering for this team but that doesn't mean we have to put up with continued lackluster play.

I try not to be negative, I really don't. I've been waiting for them to step it up and it has not happened. You are right, we are completely spoiled cheering for this team but that doesn't we have to put up with continued lackluster play.

For most teams, "step it up" means "win." Despite the closeness of most games, that's still happening.
