Thanks man, what time do you think the broadcasting will start? Right at game time or do they have any pregame. Just want to make sure its working alright for me cause i cant connect to either of them right now.

The atdhe stream will probably start close to the start at 1.30. The Svt one should start around 1.15 if it's the same as on the tv. Otherwise it's 1.30 for that one as well.

Hedman scares the s*** out of me. If he's the "Swedish Pronger", as he's been billed the last two years, he should be elbowing Tavares' head into the boards tonight. And like Pronger's dirty hits, it'll go unpenalized. :(

I don't think you have to worry about that. Both because I've never seen Hedman deliver a dirty hit, and because Canada is the team that has a habit of doing things like that and getting away with it. What they did to Forsberg in that WC final a couple of years ago still makes me sick just thinking about it..

Watch out for Lasu though, he completely destroyed a slovakian in the semi with a very nice (and clean) open ice hit.

oh, and: GO SWEDEN!!

I'm super pumped for the game.

Prediction, 6-3 win for Sweden.

My brain says Canada.

My heart says Sweden.

Although outside of hockey, I love Canada too  Not to give up the gold yet but I'm very happy Team Sweden made it to the finals again.

First period looking very much like the first period of Sweden-Slovakia, except that Canada is creating a bit more on 5-on-5.

What we really need to do though is stay out of the box and start crashing the net more, like Canada is doing.

Only 1-0 so far, could have been more, but I still think we're looking like the better team and I'm confident we'll turn it around.

Seriously, someone should set up Victor Hedman on a playdate with, say, Donald Brashear. He could do some damage with all that size.

2-0. Broken stick, superb finish. No complaints there.

Pierre McGuire is a piece of s***. How is it embellishment when he got his legs taken out?

What is your explanation for no penalty on Hedman?

In terms of embellishment, not sure, but all Esposito did was skate in, reach for the puck and the goalie ran into his left leg and went flying like he got by a truck. Now, I'm sure it was just a matter of being off balance and wearing all that gear, but I wouldn't know as I've never been a goalie.

One usually argues why there IS a penatly, not why there ISN'T one. Go ahead and do that if you like.

I can't say for sure Esposito should have had a penalty but he was late into the situation (goalie got to puck first) and clearly kept his leg extended.

That's exactly how you'd fall too if someone clipped the back of your knee when you have weight on it. I'm not saying it should have been a penalty, but Markstrom didn't embellish.

And Hedman didn't get a penalty for the simple fact that sometimes the refs will give you a little bit of leeway when someone hits your goalie sometimes.

All I'm hoping for is that those Canadians keep that stuff up against the goalie when they get to the NHL - I bet they'll get some great reception =/

EDIT: I'll just add that it's been a long time since I've seen a Swedish goalie get so pissed off, they tend to stay quite calm

Please, this goalie is embarrassing himself in front of millions... flops every single time sometime comes close to him.

Relax, guy, I'm pretty sure that wasn't my point.

You were suggesting if the Canadian players played "this way" in the NHL around goalies, someone would kick their ass? Isn't it? I'm saying the goalie is embellishing it and it's not that bad at all.

I'm surprised that Wikegård still get's a job...

I kind of like his straight-talk in some situations...but he should make a Wall Street bank kind of write-down on his ego.
