Haha, Russia ties it up right after Canada's taken the lead once again..

Exciting game, but I can't say I'm intimidated by either of these teams performance.

With defense and goaltending like this Sweden will destroy the team that wins this game.

Why does this WJC have more excitement than most of the NHL games?

Edit: Regular season, that is.

Edit2: If Russia doesn't ice it, it's game over.

cuz it's playoff games for them really. And they are playing to impress the NHL guys so they can slack off when they get here. Until the playoffs that is

Russia taking wild shots right now. Very defensive as well. They need to do what they were doing when they got a 5-4 lead and forget it's in OT.

Russia has done absolutely nothing in OT, and are making huge mistakes in being obviously nervous. They have one or two forwards going in and way outnumbered by Canada's defense.

They are playing for the shootout.

Canada scored two, and I'm pretty sure it's over now. Good luck to Sweden. Epic collapse by Russia.

Hate shootouts, they're not in any way a fair determination of who's the better team.

Edit: and that's game. Really looking forward to the final match. Even though i think we would have had an easier game against Russia, there's nothing better than beating Canada on their home ice, something I think we will do.

Me too, but Canada would have won that too if it was next goal wins the whole way. Russia had nothing at all going on in OT. Not a single chance, sending in one forward to play offense against Canada's entire D. No idea what they were thinking from the 5-5 score and on. Was the tank on empty?

Lucky win for Canada, and honestly I wanted to see them lose.

The Russian players are just too selfish and try to be too fancy going for the empty net.

Hockey is sure fun to watch when players on both sides suck defensively and keep turning the puck over! Wish the NHL could be like that.

That last goal must be incredibly tough mentally for them.

They were 5 seconds away from getting atleast a silver medal. It's very hard to bounce back from that.

My big question is what the russian defender was doing on his knees on that goal?
