The Best Mullet in Hockey History

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

The other day I was extremely bored and I chose to use my free time as productively as I could.. so I decided to google "mullet". I noticed a very common occurrence. Other than the classic hick or child molester mullet, hockey players were the most represented persons in this search. So I ask of you all.... who do you all think sported the best showing of a mullet in our beloved sport? Were there any Wings that had one of these classy cuts....? Discuss.

Same reason only bad news make it on TV....people love the BAD stuff...or a situation that was really BAAAAAD and then suddenly turned good. Nobody wants to hear the goods stuff, it doesn't sell.

That being said, this topic really isn't all that positive itself. <_<

I dunno. Melrose is still quite proud to rock the mullet.

Ryan Smyth. Because he's bold enough to wear a mullet in 2008. Now that takes a pride in your waving 80's hair. Even Jagr eventually gave his up!

Oh, you went there. You see Smyth just doesn't what's in or out. He does whatever he darn well feels like it.

Jagr's was pretty good. I wish I could think of a few more to add to this list.

You know, I'm going to be bias. Yzerman. Why? Cause it was just right. Enough to be a mullet but not too much where it was overdone. He didn't try too hard, like a Bono-wannabe, it just came naturally. It was well kept. Never tangled. It was wan't flat and had great volume. I'm sure he never he had need for hair gel or hair spray and never had to use a hair dryer on it. Didn't have time for such pitter patter. Split ends... pa-lease.

I vote his.

Having reached adulthood in the early 80's, I love a man with a mullet. Intrigued by this topic, I searched Yahoo images under "mullet hairstyle hockey". I was informed that I had entered a restricted adult-only area. Of course I looked. Don't bother. Only 6 pics. None of hockey players. Apparently the name alone scared them.

I liked Luc Robitaille's mullet. Not overdone, but set off his face well.

Oh, and yeah, I had a mullet.
