Yay! A GDT! How I've missed these.

Wow, that's a banged-up bunch of Jackets.

I wish I didn't have to miss this one, but I'll be reading the GDT to relive the magic.

Wings take this one 2-1.

Hossa, Hudler

Nash

Many protest signs will be seen.

Hopefully this long ASG break helped our boys. Think Ozzie will play good and Hank and Hossa will produce lots of points.

Wings take this game, I guess by 4-2, will not be an easy game because we have not played for a week and dumb Bettman suspended Pasha and Nick.

No, it's not. They've been discussing adding a YSG provision similar to that of the ASG though.

Mason played two games, back to back on the road in Edmonton and Calgary, got to take the elbow-rubbing weekend off, and now rested, takes on the Wings sans Lidsttrom and Datsyuk.

f*** you, Gary Bettman.

4-1 Wings. The Wings fire 45 shots, Hossa gets three goals and the team starts a 12-game winning streak.

EDIT:

I also like to mention I enjoy imagining ESAD and esteef's slow burn upon reading these and realizing our leading penalty guy has less PIMs than games.

Kronwall has to step up big time now and be responsible in his own zone to make up the gap of lidstrom's absence

I'm in school till 8 but this prof sometimes lets us out early. I'll be taping this one cuz I heard a rumor..... 12 scantily clad girls are lacing up skates and will sneak on to the ice, 6 wearing Lids masks and 6 wearing Dats masks. Bettman, who is sharing some nice popcorn with Cindy while they watch, calls Babs on his cell phone to say the whole team has to fly to Montreal to play those puck shooting bears or the NHL season is called off. Cindy is heard snivelling in the backgroud that Lids and Dats should both get another 6 game "suspension" each for playing mean tricks.

Great GDT as usual, but the reasons for Datsyuk and Lidstrom being out (suspension) needs to be changed to "Bettman'd" -- if it were a real suspension, mangement would be allowed to appeal it and the NHLPA would be crapping bricks.

This will be quite a test for the rest of the team to step it up without our top Dman and our leader in assists. If they are rested enough and pissed off enough they can do it. And welcome back Franzen!!

Wings - 3 (Zetterberg, Hudler, Draper)

BJs - 2

We should all watch for great signs and vote on a winner.

If the wings are half as angry about the suspensions as I am, then they will come out flying. Fact is, they're probably actually 10 times as angry about them than me, judging by their comments from the practise yesterday. Ozzie even talked about the league being against them.

This siege mentality means the Wings will dominate tonight 4-1 and are about to go on a big win streak. "**** you Bettman '09" starts tonight.
