Third Man In 2,091 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 C'mon, people. Yes, Kronners is having a rough night and hasn't had the year we hoped so far, but he stepped up *big time* last year in the playoffs, when it counts. Until he falls flat in the playoffs I don't think we should be talking about dumping him.
Casey 145 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 Now there is a difference. Where are people who say "It is not his fault" when Ozzie allows a goal? On one, I agree. The other 2, no.

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 You're describing Kronner when he's on his game. Injury? Not sure what's up with him. If you think I'm describing Kronwall, then you don't know what a shutdown Dman is. Kronwall has never been, will never be, and will never come close to a shutdown Dman. Its questionable whether or not Kronwall will ever be a solid defensive presence in general, let alonea shutdown Dman.
Ms_Hockey 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 This is, by far, the best physical play I've seen from the Wings this season.

Ms_Hockey 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 (edited) Holy s***!!! Charging he just blatantly tried to level maltby without the puck in the corner. If I were going to charge somebody, it certainly wouldn't be Maltby. Edited January 30, 2009 by Ms_Hockey

Electrophile 3,554 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 That was some fun hockey right there, those last couple minutes. Too bad the whole game hasn't had that same amount of energy.
Wingsallwin 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 Unlike the losers who blame Osgood for every deflection and bad-luck goal, most of those that defend Osgood against the likes of those people understand when Osgood gives them up that he isn't a God or anything. Some people on here need to grow up. Is it the first time Osgood plays bad? If today's game is the only game, I would not say like this.

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted January 30, 2009 (edited) Then, that should be a trade. Volchenko has one more year contract left right? I can think in that way too but this game is not on whose fault. Every our Wings plays bad tonight, especiall Osgood is the worst Kronwall has been among the worst in defensive play this season. Tonight just happens to be the breaking point. Edit: And as I post this, Kronwall gives up the puck 10 feet away from the net.
