You are bending over backwards to defend Ozzie. Lidstrom, that was a "crap happens" play, Ozzie should have had that. Odd bounce or not he should have had that area covered in a basic stance. He's not paying attention.

If Osgood let in a goal like the 2 goals that Legace let in, then I would be all over Osgood about it. Thats the difference between a goal that he should have had and a "oops" goal. You going to say that the two goals that Legace let in were "better quality"? Not to me.

Everyone is entitled to a defense. People defending him aren't saying he's not playing like crap. Anyone with a working pair of eyes can tell something is amiss. That doesn't mean he's the Antichrist either.

Both teams should put pylons in net in order to keep the goals against down.

1. Wrong place on the ice to leave a shooter wide open to take a one-timer.

Cross ice tape to tape pass, beautiful one timer with no hesitation, he is lucky he got to it in time to get any of it. That was a horrible PK formation and Ozzie was f***ed, he had no chance. First goal was indeed his bad though.

Every goalie has crappy ice in front of him at times. The morons saying that goal was Osgoods fault and whining about it are stupid. Especially when they have no idea what it is like. If you are going to patronize my statement, you might want to spend some time patronizing others who are lambasting Osgood.

Well if those morons make a statement like I guess then never played hockey then I would say something, because unless you're an NHL don't talk like you know the ******* game so much more then others. I like Ozzy but he has been playing like s*** this entire season, hell so has the defense. Don't get all but hurt when we actually hope to god Ozzy makes a big save.

When was the last time we played a game that we kind of looked like the champs? I mean like you know,take a lead and ******* HOLD ON TO IT!!!

Last time was definitely looked like the defending champs was the 6-1 win against Dallas early in January. Since then, lethargic and unmotivated hockey; good wins in LA and Anaheim between, but the Dallas game was the last great performance.

Why to not cover Berglund :\

We cannot cover every part on the defensive zone during the PK. For better PK, the goalie should be the best penalty killer.

Even announcers and other teams' fans know Osgood is in a slump. And if we are still obstinate about putting Osgood as a starting goalie, it will not be pretty.

I guess Ozzy seems to be the only goalie in the NHL that happens to have crappy ice in front of him. Statements like that are so damn stupid, it's not like you're an NHL player so don't question other peoples past of playing hockey. We are on a message board to discuss the game not to hear some self proclaimed "hockey god" tell us that he apparently knows more about hockey then others, unless you're an NHL player then you shouldn't make a stupid statement like that......

But he's right and it's ridiculous and ignorant to blame the goalies as much as people generally do on this board.

And on that note, the blues score on the power-play once again. Don't know what to say. I imagine Osgood should've had that too?

And sure, it'd be nice if he did, and he could, but you know, I just can't beat up on him or Conklin too much with the way the rest of the guys on the ice are playing.
