edicius 3,269 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 The word from the TSN streamers is that the Sharks and Wings are now trying to get Neil. I have no idea where they got that from. Just passing it on... NHL Live was saying the same thing about an hour ago.

Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 I like to refer to this as AROD simplex I, this is when he is on the team however the team performs better with him not in the lineup. AROD Simplex II is when the team's overall record increases when said superstar is traded for 2 prospects and a pick. AROD Simplex III is when the star player is absolutely infatuated with a player who was on the team before said superstar got there, but in a completely non-*** way! AROD simplex IV is when the star player joins your team and destroys the chemistry and you wish your team had the 2 prospects and a pick back. AROD simplex V is actually the first stage of Manny-itis which is when you are so fed up with the player you are willing trade him to another team and offer to pay his whole salary, and said team asks you to throw in another player because this guy free is not worth the headaches!!! Sorry for the baseball analogy! This is why you're one of my favorites hahahaha. AROD simplex V is actually the first stage of Manny-itis clutch

egroen 384 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 (edited) Guerin really made a difference at the deadline for San Jose a couple years ago... and I hear his game has really improved since then! Edited March 4, 2009 by egroen

I Just don't know!!! That locker room needs some veteran leadership. Hell, it needs some leadership period. But I doubt Guerin's going to be able to accomplish that task in that locker room. Majsheppard 203 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 I am praying to the god known as Holland. Sacrificing virgin chickens praying for a miracle. I am asking for Bouwmesster and Staal, if the god wants to meet me half way with Neil that would be fine.
Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 I think Muray is playing DET and SJ off each other to get the most for neil Oh absolutely he is, it's called getting the most for your assets. The longer he waits and says "well, Sharks are offering a 2nd and you're only offering a 3rd and 4th..." He's getting the most he can out of him.
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Weren't the Ducks supposed to trade Pronger? They took him off the block a few hours ago, mainly because Scotty hasn't decided if he's coming back next season. Again.
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Wow, the Isles rid of Guerin without much in return. They must have wanted to dump him badly or are just retarded. Or perhaps the offers for Guerin were garbage, and they made a move before they got nothing for him.
egroen 384 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 I pretty much want Bouwmeester or nothing. And I doubt the Wings swing Bouwmeester.

Guest Shoreline Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Or perhaps the offers for Guerin were garbage, and they made a move before they got nothing for him. Christ, it was only a few years ago I remember Guerin making around 10 or 12m/season.
Hockeytown_Ryan 122 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Guerin really made a difference at the deadline for San Jose a couple years ago... and I hear his game has really improved since then! How many More picks and Prospects does Pitt have left....? They gave a Boat load to ATL for Hossa didnt they? See where that got them... I think this was a IMPULSE move..... AtomicPunk 296 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Pronger was pulled off the table last night by the Ducks. It does not appear that he is going anywhere.
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 I pretty much want Bouwmeester or nothing. And I doubt the Wings swing Bouwmeester. If that's your feelings, you may not want to tune in the rest of the deadline day, because (as you ascertain) no way Kenny picks him up. It would require too much player movement. Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 LeBrun (2:15 p.m. ET): Just a quick note on Martin Havlat. He's close to signing a multiyear deal, but it won't be completed today. But they're close enough where the Hawks are not going to move him today.
