Lovin Jiri Fischer 147 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 I really hope he gets better. I think he will. Hossa is hungry and he wants to win the Cup more than anyone on this team. If you're a Christian, Jew, Muslim, whatever, I think you need to say a prayer. I don't mean to sound dorky but you know...

russianswede919293 95 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 Loked identical to when Stuart went headfirst into the boards.. I am very worried. Leino may be taking a bus straight back to Detroit if Hossa is out long term...
Electrophile 3,554 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 I'm sure Hossa will be alright, but as I said.....the guy was coming back from a head/neck injury. You don't hit that guy.

ChelisChick 174 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 I really hope he gets better. I think he will. Hossa is hungry and he wants to win the Cup more than anyone on this team. If you're a Christian, Jew, Muslim, whatever, I think you need to say a prayer. I don't mean to sound dorky but you know... That's not dorky. That's just the right thing to do. Thank God they said it looked like they took him out for precautionary reasons. I'll be a basketcase until we hear what's going on with him. OK Downey....you have work to do. adamic 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 You can argue clean/dirty all you want, but a player coming back from a head or neck injury SHOULD be off-limits. Remember in the Finals last year when Franzen came back from the concussion and Pens kept knocking him in the head? It's just dirty on its face to do, even if the hit wasn't dirty. I want a pay back! Someone needs to get beat by Downey.

Vladifan 680 Report post Posted March 4, 2009 I'm not that mad at Pollack for the outcome because you see hits like that all the time in games, it just sucks Hossa was off balance and you could tell Pollack felt like crap after that play. Here's hoping for just a neck strain and nothing more serious. Agreed.
