He is alright? I am not in front of the TV and haven't been since the horn went at the end of the first. What have they said about it during the intermission.

He never lost consciousness, he was alert the whole time and he's only at the hospital for precautionary reasons. No mention of concussion, spinal injury or fractures/broken bones. Considering what it looked like, he got very lucky.

Winning this game would go a long way to proving that we CAN win without our big guns. This team has be to able to face down some adversity and not let it cause them to fold like a cheap suit. So far, they are showing they can hold it together.

And the Blooze looked intimidated at first. A lot of their passes were right to our players. Sure hope that lasts....

But I won't hold my breath 'cause then I might turn blue and be the same color as them. ...urp...

I tend to agree. It was a hideous, unfortunate slide into the boards headfirst for Hossa, but he was off balance and it wasn't that hard a hit. Nor could you call it boarding. I am sitting here praying that Hossa heals fast but I'm also guessing that Pollack feels very bad about the whole thing.

He looked like a wreck when they showed him in the box, these guys are warriors, but the last thing they want to do is put someone in the hospital.

Can you imagine what this game would do for Ozzie's confidence if he got a ^%$#^A#&?

I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME. PLEASE TRY AGAIN USING A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE.

Wow, good to hear. Thanks, I was still out to lunch about his status. Breathing a little easier.

I for one think we should injure Polak. The Blues have never been classy against us, thus there's no reason for us to start.

Like I said earlier, I don't think Polak should be on that list. I'm talking about cretins who do a lot of their damage after the whistle; who don't take their helmets off; who, just in general are cheapshot artists and mostly won't fight when it comes right down to it.

I still think Polak's hit was not a hard one and he didn't have intent to injure.
