I might suck, but I'll try my best and do anything for the people that I care about - friends, family, teammates. I'd rather go home with a loss after giving my all than go home with the Stanley Cup after a game where I don't feel I played my part as well as I could have. I'm more impressed by guts and people just showing up than I am about pretty plays and succes on the scoreboard if it comes at the expense of self-respect. I can't skate backwards for s*** so D is out. Also, I kinda look like PJ Stock, so...

I'm not sure who I would be, but: I like playing the left wing, right-handed shot, a bit better at passing than shooting, 6'2" but not great size, about average skating speed, don't fight but I do sometimes have trouble controlling my temper. I guess I don't really watch enough of teams other than the Wings to figure out who that would be. If I figure it out, I'll repost.

i would say marian hossa, same height/weight, left handed, although more of a shooter/scorer than play maker. hard to knock off puck, power through to crash net also.

Crap. You probably don't need a 3rd baseman, do you? I get told all the time that I look like Mike Lowell. Hmm. I guess I gotta think about this a while...gotta come up with some body...

Until then, are you guys playing in Florida soon so I can come watch while I'm at spring training? Apparently, I know all the best golf courses.

Truth be told, I was always more effective on the football field as a tailback, strong safety. On the ice, I do hit like a football player, and luv to scrum and dig for pucks, have great speed but can't always finish. Hmm Dallas Drake maybe.

I was gonna go with Avery since he's pretty much a perfect match, but since that's already taken and we need D (and I've played a fair amount), I'm going with:

Kevin Bieksa

Decent offensive talent from the back end, love to play physical, I'll block shots, and I'll definitely drop 'em, too.

Alex Burrows.

Same height (6'1"), a bit heavier but thats negligable. I was always a fast forward who worked hard to pucks and didn't have too much finesse. Eventually though, I got a bit of a scoring touch and started putting pucks in the net, but remained a pretty decent good two way player. And like Burrows, I liked to start s***...

haha.

Mark Recchi, in looks, and in talent distribution (ironically, despite being left handed like he is, I actually use a right-handed stick/shoot right). Weirdly, he looked pretty much exactly like my dad back when he had his first and second stints with the Flyers.

Been told for at least a decade now, that I played just like Brendan Shanahan. I have the same height and a few pounds lighter, not the greatest skater or defensive play but will be in the top three in scoring and most of it from shots within the face off circle areas. Hell, we even have the same first name but I shoot left handed, not right.

Maybe you should reconsider Ballard, & go with Ken Daneyko; especially if ya got any chickletts missing, & ya love the barley pops ;)

Haha. It was a tough call. In reality, and I hate to admit it but the most likely resemblance is Barret Jackman. I pretty much would drop them at the slightest provocation and I've been booted out of enough leagues to warrant my reputation as just a jerk off sometimes. But, he's bigger than I am so I went with Ballard, who only scraps sometimes but we're roughly the same size, both American born, likes to hit and can really bring it despite being sub 6 feet tall.

Me, franzen. My coaches have been telling me that for a couple years. I'm 6'4 225 lbs and I can move quick and handle the puck well. When I get moving toward the net, I'm near impossible to stop with my size and momentum. I also am really good at deflections. I think the ONLY real difference between franzen and I is that I use my size the right way w/o the puck as well and I'm NEVER afraid to drop em to stick up for a teammate.
