Well, at least it's a meaningless game.

Lids will back. Hossa will be back. We will have fire in our bellies and will have a desire to come out and play.

the Hawks don't seem to think so, at all.

Perhaps Mule will show up in the POs, since he has that shiny new contract.

I think some of you guys are nuts for saying all these losses don't matter. It looks like Detroit is giving a lot of teams the mental edge going into the playoffs. A team goes 3-7-1 in their last ten and 5 of those are home games and I'm suppose to say, "they're fine, it's just the last few games of the regular season". Some teams may want it more this year

it's the team mantra this season, it seems. We're fine, we lost, but oh, well... we meant to.

I am hoping the team decides the playoffs are worthy of their skills.

Khabibulin is having an absolute party out there today, making the Wings looks like amateurs.

Sure, it might be a bad sign that they're losing these games. Then again, in 2002, the Wings won only 1 of their last 10 games and went on to win the Stanley Cup.

The point is that how a team finishes a regular season isn't necessarily an indicator of how they'll perform in the playoffs. I'm definitely not confident about this team's chances, but the fact they're losing a game where they didn't dress some of their best players is not part of the reason why.

Games like this don't worry me. Games where they come out and play their best players and try their hardest and still lose - those are the ones I worry about. Those games, though, the Wings seem to turn it on and kick butt. That's what I'm looking to see in the playoffs.

PP, Go Wings.

Didn't expect much out of the Wings today with half of our all-stars out with a rest.
