The Ducks are good, but the Wings are in a whole different universe from the Sharks. Detroit's stars are not perennial losers and playoff disappearing acts. If I could get Brian Hayward and Drew Remenda in surround sound, the persecution complex would be hilarious. It tears me up inside but I'm actually cheering for the Ducks cause I want the Ducks to do our dirty work and take the Sharks out. Do you know how hard it is to cheer for Pronger and Perry The Prick? Maybe if the Sharks lose out in the first round they'll fire the coach, trade Thornton for a couple of no-names and quietly go back to being just another team with ugly uniforms next year. Sharks fans do NOT like the Ducks, especially in the Bay Area, and I guarantee you they won't be happy if they lose 2 straight going into Anaheim, even less lose the series to Anaheim. I bet there are lots of Sharks fans with their heart in their throat right now. I'm at school here at Stanford. I can personally tell you that the folks here, they ain't happy.
