oh stop, you just look silly. 5 on 5 play would help, yes but if we scored one or two on the power play it's very likely one or two of the following things would happen. 1) we'd get a jump or 2) we'd be winning and i have a feeling you wouldn't be too concerned about much

blaming the refs for poor play? what i and alot of us are saying is that it hugely contributes to our lack of jump. we have to play cautious, worried anything we do will be called and knowing the ducks won't get called for anything. one pp goal more and this is a diff game.

As bad a 2nd period as we've played this year, Ozzie looks good, the rest of the team is suspect minus Stuart and Helm really. We can still win this, a one goal game is great for how bad we've played, time to prove we're Cup Champs boys, go wings!!

Exactly...that is why the Wings are losing, not the refs. Babs should change the matchups a bit in period 3.

Detroit played very poorly that period. They made a lot of mistakes and spent a lot of time in their own zone. Some nice penalty kills at the end of the period could be a momentum builder.

Lets come out strong in the third and tie the game up, then play Red Wings hockey.

We might be getting the calls going our way, but what do you expect? You have to play with the puck if you want the calls. Wings aren't going to get the looks if they're playing chase all day.

That interference call was ludicrous. The ducks have been doing that the entire game and it's been let go. I think that's why Babcock had the grin on his face.

What's up with the red wings today? They look very lackluster.
