What a ******* waste of a period. I'm livid with this team. MORE talent than we had last year, and we aren't even coming out with intensity.

Hopefully they really wake up. This is absolutely brutal to watch. Ozzie is the only guy who is doing.

I am so bothered with EXACT SAME PLAY by the Wings this series. We knew we hd to shut down Getzlaf, Perry, Ryan, and Selanne but NOTHING IS WORKED SO FAR!

If we play like this hell hockey, it will be such a long night.

Ozzie has really kept them in this one. Losing faceoffs, sloppy neutral zone turnovers causing odd man rushes and penalties.

Lebda looked horrible that period.

Rafalski's absence has been very apparent all series to me.\

Until the Wings show up even strength they are hurting their chances at a series win.

Also maybe its time to mix up the lines.

They have shown no urgency at all. They can hardly win any faceoffs, they were dumping it in quite a bit, and not getting guys in front of the net.

They really ought to take notes from Anaheim on the power play, they stick like three guys in front of the net!

Mark Ozzie's save on that shorthanded 2 on 1 down. Something is WRONG with Pronger. He's not skating well, he's looked like he's not got his 'sea legs' or something causing him to be a half step slow all night long. He's looking around and hesitating before skating the puck in the Wings zone. A couple times a puck was free heading towards the blueline and I thought he'd get to it easily, instead it's like he's measuring whether or not he wants to try and get it and not get caught.

Something is off with him and that bodes well for the Wings

Those soft euros won us a cup last year. Give them time they'll find there game. Im sick and tired of all you wings fans that get so down on the team from a bad period. Ya ide like to see them dominate every period of every game but thats not gonna happen.

The soft Euros had a tough 4th line all season last year to back them up and to set a tempo for them. This year they don't.

Now it seems to have caught up with them, unless they actually prove me wrong and start taking it to Anaheim physically.

That was an abysmal period. What the hell are we doing? Forget 07, this is looking more like 06. Did we have a single shot from inside the circles? We need rebounds, enough shooting for the crest. Aim for the pads. It's freaking Jonas Hiller, what are we going to do if we ever get to face Luongo?!

The only two positive things after that period are Ozzy played well and there's still 40 minutes left.

The 2nd period has been up for grabs, and the Wings really, really need to grab it now.

This team is not skating, they're coasting and leaning for pucks. They're doing nothing to get to the center of the ice, and they've been borderline retarded in their own zone.

What's wrong with the Wings are very obvious.

1. Their offense has been stifled. I told people the Ducks defense wasn't something to laugh at. Every time the Wings beak out of their zone they're met with 2 forechecking Ducks, and somehow 4 backchecking Ducks when the Wings enter with 2 forwards. It means the Ducks are more defensively sound than the Wings are offensively aggressive.

2. The Wings are NOT converting on their chances. They are getting power plays, beautiful scoring chances, and they are not putting them in the net.

The Wings are outhitting the Ducks and are just fine physically (you'll probably see certain posters whining about lack of enforcers, and you'll know their one-trick-pony nonsensical BS they spew all the time), and Ozzie is playing more than what was expected of him. As mentioned the two problems is the offense being stifled, outhustled, outskated, outworked, outperformed -- and their power play or forwards are not converting on scoring chances.

Cheli sure as hell didn't help when he gave up the breakaway but the Wings should have taken advantage of their opportunities.
