The Wings have to play better than they did, and make Hiller's job more difficult, but that call was ridiculous. Worst call of the playoffs by far.

The Ducks had no offense the last 30 minutes of the game, so I really think the Wings would have won in OT.

It's not over, but the next game is a must-win.. doesn't feel good to lose like this.. hopefully they suspend the officials.

I know a lot of you don't buy into conspiracy theories, but why do the refs always screw the Wings when we play the Ducks? Last series both teams got screwed. I'm really getting sick and ******* tired of watching the refs give Anaheim wins over us year after year. Again this reaffirms my belief that there should be an ability to review a call like in football where the ref can be shown how much of a goddamn ass he's just been and reverse his own call.

Wings probably would have blown the game in 6 OT's leaving us all up until 5 am est, but still that is so god damn unfair. That goal counted and there was nothing worth blowing the whistle on let alone the puck going in before the whistle. Clearly this league is corrupt, as obvious even if this was just one dumbass refs massive boner, you can't deny that last years finals where clearly officiated to draw the series out for the Pittsburgh Crosby's. This is nothing new and there is no Stanley Cup Hangover, just Gary Bettman's great idea of spreading the wealth and raping last years winner so we get a new team to be champion every year rather than the most deserving team.

Now take it for granted that I'm comparing college and pro sports here, but that display AFTER the game was as gutless as it was during the game.

The body language is that of a team that just doesn't care. In college if a team shows that kinda body language, they get blown out in their NEXT game.

Usually pro teams aren't as susceptible to this but we will see.

I'm not even that pissed about the ref's call anymore really. It's just a realization that a bad call was able to cost them a game they should have won had they played THEIR game instead of shooting from the boards for 50 minutes of it.
