Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted May 10, 2009 Thanks, Brian Campbell, for constantly giving me chances to say nasty thing about you: If you had any balls at all you would have taken that puck to the net.
titanium2 867 Report post Posted May 10, 2009 I'm watching too and hoping for a Hawks win. It helps that the Hawks look pretty damn beatable in a 7 game series, but by the time the Wings would get to them Kane might be healthy again. Maybe they can just send Cleary to get him again. RockyMountainWingGal 108 Report post Posted May 10, 2009 It's only my profound love for the game of hockey that makes me watch the Canucks. Ten years ago, half the teams in the league played like them; the trapping, the trying to sit on a one goal lead for as long as it takes, etc. Now, they're one of the only teams left that plays that way. It's cost them in this series, especially in game 4, when they tried to protect a 1-0 score by relying on their goaltender to stop everything. I would hate to see their brand of hockey rewarded with success. I don't see how trying to sit around and win 1-0 games will get you anywhere. I suspect the Hawks will take this, but who knows? IMO the Nucks have no shot at beating the Wings or Ducks - the only reason they are in the second round and in the series is 1) a fortuitous matchup in the first round with the Blues, and 2) a very good goalie. Wingsallwin 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2009 The team like Chicago, composed by mostly young players, has a terrible defect like now; cannot control the emotion of failure and take all meaningless penalties.
