Don't care. Since it's on NHL Network, I will not be able to see the f'ing game. Thanks, Bettman. Again. I cannot believe this. Stealing regular season games is one thing, but a pivotal playoff game?

Die. Please.

as if the NHL is about the fans being able to watch the games.

They want you who can't see the game to ***** to the cable companies that don't carry it.

I'd personally watch it over the internet if I couldn't get it on my DirecTV.

Even though game 4 was not a PERFECT GAME, I was pretty happy with the level of performance the Wings showed. The only thing I can add more from the positive aspects of game 4 are

-Stop making turnover

-Chellios...

-ZDH line has to produce this time

-Most important: do not ******* lay back

I will watch online, if I can find a feed that works. Thanks to those of you who've suggested links. I have company coming for dinner -- my idea, I thought we'd actually get to see the game. So, I can't sit at the 'puter and cook at the same time. I can see the TV from the kitchen. Too bad there won't be a game on it, huh?

To those who PM'd me to say they have the game on NHL, etc. and are gloating about that? I hope your power goes out and comes back on just as the game ends. <_<

Simply Put: If the Ducks take dumb penalties, the Wings win.

The Ducks play smart and stay out of the box = Good chance of winning

You know what's funny? One of the Wings fans on this board told a Ducks fan that they have to play smart - and this guy went completely apes*** over it.. said that the Ducks NEVER play smart and when they do, they fail.

I was like hmmmm.

Here's the way I see it: The Ducks have one solid line and Selanne. Other than that, they've got nothing. The Wings have three - and even four - solid scoring lines. In the OT loss that they like to chant about, we held them off to THREE OT'S. Three. We dominated them in every category from about the third period on. If the Wings can bring that intensity from minute 1 all the way to minute 60, the Ducks don't even have a chance. And not only that, we're missing two of our top D-men and our face-off specialist. Now, we aren't hurting too bad in the face-off department, but if they were all back - it's safe to say this series would be pure ownage on the Wings part.

We're doing perfectly fine. We play a full 60 minutes of hockey and we have this thing in the bag, period. End of story.

I foresee one of two grossly different scenarios.

Wings take an early multi goal lead for a change with Ozzie coming up big in the early going of the first. Ducks eventually rally to tie, but the Wings turn it un again finding their fourth gear and win it 5-2 with an empty netter. Datsyuk gets a goal as well as Hossa, Franzen, Homer with a deflect off of a Lids shot on a PP, and Hank yet again with the empty netter as Carlyle pulls his goalie with 2 and a half to go.

Or...

Ducks score first, wings tie it and we go into the third tied up. Late into the period O'halloran calls off a goal on Homer for barely having his skate in the crease area after a non-called Pronger cross-check pushes him there and Perry scores on the ensuing PP as he crashes Ozzie while Homer's in the box for interference.

Hey sorry if this has already been posted but NHL Network is showing "Pioneers: Gordie Howe" and "Pioneers: Ted Lindsay" in the hour leading up to the game starting at 4pm ET. I'll admit when this network was announced I never expected all this archival game footage and documentaries. This channel is a must for hockey fans.

The home teams have won the odd numbered games in this series so far. Lets hope that trend continues.

If that pattern of home team victory, away team victory continues this series will be done in six.

Also It seems that the first goal of the game doesn't matter much in this series but the second one is huge.

I'm hoping for an early 2-0 Wings lead.

NHL.com lists Giggy as the starting GT. True?

That would be good, if only because it shows they have no confidence in their goaltending
