Then go to bed...I swear some of you guys are the biggest bandwagon fans I have ever seen. They have had their chances and things havent worked out, but GO TO BED THEN, and DONT WATCH ANYMORE GAMES. You are the guys that cant stop posting how good the team is when they are winning and then go to bed when they are losing.

+1. Thanks for saying it. Good riddance to anyone who isn't fan enough to stick with this team for another period.

All of the top offensive players for the Wings have been nonexistant today, and nobody has even tested hiller. If i were keeping quality scoring chances, I'd give 1-2 for the wings for 2 periods. I don't know how they're saying the Wings have more quality chances...

Datsyuk and Zetterberg have both had chances, but lost the puck at the very last second bceause of a poke check or someone clipped them and threw them off balance.

Helm has been a beast, though. I have a feeling he's going to score a clutch goal, followed by Franzen.

I have a feeling that even if we're on the PP the entire 20 minutes in this period, we still won't be able to tie it up.

Oh please. Drama queen much?

And what's with all these dumb ass players falling down. Has Cleary infected the entire team?

The ice is garbage. Did you see them squeegee water off before the period and during a commercial break? I am guessing the Ducks are used to the quality of the ice.

I'm afraid that we'll have a great 3rd period, but come up short on many occasions from tying it up.

Waved off goal in the last minute to stop us from tying it at 2?

I just said it to make sure it doesn't happen.

That requires that you actually have to be in gear.

The Wings are in neutral right now, idling.

That's better than "reverse", right? ;)

Honestly, are we even sure they are in the car, let alone in gear?

Ok, the things I could not understand and still:

1. What is going on our PP?

2. After the Ducks iced the puck, Babcock put our 4th liner against the tired Ducks line?

3. Kronwall sucks

Mind-bogglingly, Anaheim in mid-May produces s***ty ice.

Should they really NEED to be told that ?? They're professionals

Yes. You'd be surprised being a coach how much reinforcing one or two main points really does. One minute you're shooting and following the shot but not really battling, trying to be more finesse, then after you relaly reame a team out about a point you need to get across, they'll start physically trying to get to the front of the net. I have faith that if it works with a college hockey team, it'll work with the Red Wings :) GO WINGS!!~!!

Playing too cute in this game. Holding onto the puck too long. Passing up shots. Not converting on beautiful cross ice feeds that have been there -- wide open -- on three seperate occasions tonight. Getting outworked. It's cliche, but they're "playing not to lose" rather than "playing to win."

No killer instinct.

I don't think Anaheim has been impressive in this game as Detroit has controlled the puck most of the night, but the power play has been a monstrous let down as is the stone hands and bad decision making on great scoring chances.

Matt,

Kindly call Mike Babcock.

Thank you,

Me

How come the Ducks players aren't constantly falling down?

Could it be that they're tougher on the puck than we are in this game because our players are too lazy to play?
