Well, you would think he would be a fan considering ever since he was born they've been in the playoffs and winning Stanley Cups! When was he born 88? Well, take away 1989 and the he doesn't know an NHL where the Wings were'nt dominating, even in the Cheveldae days they were winning alot of regular season games... And his earliest recallition of the Stanley Cup probably started arround 1997 whe he was 9 and guess who? Of course I can see his hatred, he wasn't old enough to remember the Bills four straight Super Bowl loses, the Sabres, well, they're they Sabres, and that is pretty much it. He prolly was a bandwagon fan of the Leafs, oh, wait, they've sucked his entire life too. I guess he is just a fan of losers.

also, I find it funny he dislikes Detroit, but that is where he had his HIGHEST point totals of his career thusfar when he played for Detroit Honeybaked in 2004. Oh well, there are two types of players in this league, Detroit Red Wings and those who long to be Red Wings...
