Eager, Versteeg etc were embarassing!!!!!!!

This young blackhawk team showed a pathetic performace, can't control their emotions whatsoever...

Didn't read the thread, but was osgood hurt or did they just want conklin to get som playoff ice time?

Fantastic win by the Wings! They put on a clinic and how to win a playoff game and keep your composure! Sooo happy to see Hossa get on the board twice! He looked awesome today! I was so nervous when I heard Lidstrom wasn't playing. Glad to see the team step up in the face of adversity! Keep it going boys! Let's wrap it up on Wednesday!

Solid, solid effort. I can't decide what was better - the defensive play especially considering we didn't have either our Norris winner or our Selke winner; or the composure and discipline. Passing: excellent - it's been lacking in recent games. Defense: terrific. Brilliant game.

That said, Chicago looked like 100% dog-chewed ass out there. Holy crap was that a bush league effort. I gotta give props to Chicago fans for not throwing stuff on the ice. If I was a Blackhawk fan I'd be beside myself. Huet was pure s*** in net. At least two, maybe three of those goals were pillowy-soft. I think if Khabi's out there, we still win, but not in such a blowout. And no composure. Versteeg is a retard. Eager is a retard. Burish is a retard. They lost all sense of discipline, melted down, and embarrassed themselves. It'll be a shock if the Q doesn't go into that locker room and break things.

Let me just say that I'm so ******* proud of the way the team played. When I heard Lidstrom wouldn't be playing, I got this really bad feeling that the series would slip out of our hands because of injuries, but I should have known that they wouldn't let that happen.

Hossa!! Where have you been? This is how you can play, this is why it's going to hurt if we lose you. Hope this was not some temporary wake-up, and that he keeps this up.

Fil, Huds, Z, Ozzie etc., everyone stepped up and took care of business.

One thing though: How hard is it to get a hat-trick?? It's not going to happen this year is it?

Anyway, awesome game.

Finish this off at home!

That a boy Chelios, and I'm losing all the respect I had for Burish, just another flat out goon. At least Parros played a respectful dirtbag game

I agree, I really thought Burish was a great player when he was at UW Madison, but now it's getting hard to stomach the guy!

I would not get too optimistic about Hossa

The guy got freezing COLD pretty badly quickly after the good game 5 against the Ducks

THIS is what I'm talking about, and a lot of the others are here too. What's the point of this kind of statement? Even if I'd responded to you during real time I would suggest we just play the game and hope for the best?

:nonono:

This was a fear of mine too, but as a fan one should keep their composure too. Keep positive, and voila, feel better about keeping faith in your team. Hell, faith is certainly justified given all the times the Wings have rewarded it.

Wouldn't that be something? To win (hope) a cup without 1 hat trick all season. Talk about a balanced team.

Has it ever been done?

LOL!!!

look at the three stars of the game. Barker for third star?? Talk about NHL throwing the Horks a bone.

Pathetic. Shoulda been Oz or Zata. Or Stuart. Or Mule. Or Rafalski. Or Kronner. Any of those guys played better than Barker. f***. Chelios for third star over Barker and he barely played.
