Yes. He also says "real" a lot.

"Well I thought we played a real good game."

"Well we played real hard out there."

"Well I mean, EuroTwin is a real good LGWer. She skates well, has great drive, forces the tempo and is just an all-around talent. At her position, she's as good as anybody on LGW. If you stick with it and continue to do good things, good things will happen as a result and she's living proof of that."

If anyone has the game recorded and would be willing to send me a file of it, I would GREATLY appreciate it, because I missed the game and it sounds like it had just about everything in it.

Also, we beat the Hawks 6-1 without Datsyuk OR Lidstrom? Unbelievable. I was worrying about the Pens a bit, but the Wings just keep showing me they have what it takes to dominate anyone in the league. Also glad Hossa and Zetterberg finallys cored. Hopefully it keeps up. I don't see the Wings beating the Pens in less than 7 without all our big guns firing.

Well, if the Hawks wanna be douches and play dirty and keep themselves going to the penalty box, run the ******* score up. Get 10.

I expect that kind of statement from you. But from McGuire?? He said the same thing and I think Olczyk agreed.

Yeah, there's hope for him.

We're winning 6-1, utterly dominating them.....and you want a Red Wing to get in a stupid prick waving contest at this point in the game?

You're nuts. Complete macadamia.

Yeupp. And there's not a coach out there who would suggest his players should...oh, wait...

I wondered at the time how many had actually been kicked out for whatever reasons. Anybody? Anybody?

Havlat was gone with an injury, Eager had gotten booted for a game misconduct, and Versteeg got a 10 minute misconduct with 5 minutes left in the game to eject him.

By my count there were 12 roughing calls in total.

Draper has been given a very special birthday present today. We all have. There are few among us, I imagine, who didn't think we were screwed when we heard about Lidstrom.

This is a very special team. What character!

Very well put. I was really uptight for really the first time. But they are the class act of the NHL.

Talent, Depth, PROFESSIONALISM.

I didn't see who got player of the game, but it should be Filppula. I didn't know anything about Lidstrom being scratched today, but did Filppula ever impress today. I don't know what happened in his life, but what ever it was must have been awesome. I have never seen him take over a game like this. Oh, Osgood was pretty good too!

What an awesome showing by the Wings. I loved how they kept their heads while the Hawks were falling apart. It looked like the Hawks believed since Lidstrom and Datsyuk were out of the lineup they could just sit back. Boy, did that ever bite them. Now, I wish I would have recorded this game. Feel like an idiot now. Good job guys. What an awesome-convincing win!

What happened today is what I had been hoping for all series. We played 60 minutes in all aspects of the game.

We came out of the gates playing very well and getting shots to the net with pressure. On top of that for the first time all series we got the first goal. Key when playing on the road in front of 22,000+!

By playing our game, we eventually frustrated and got in the heads of a young, inexperienced and un-disciplined team. Chicago is lucky we only hung 6 on them.

I was thinking more like a free clinic.

That too. Did you read the Trib article? The writer did not mince nuthin'. Hawks' fans have got to feel rotten. As for me? Well, I can't stop this uncontrollable, hysterical giggling.

The Trib writers don't sugarcoat. They've gone after the Hawks, Bulls, Bears, Cubs and White Sox. They don't care. Just be glad it's not the Sun Times and Mariotti.

Good for them! I see Mariotti sometimes on whatever that sports announcers' show is on espn. He pretty much seems like a know-it-all-arrogant prick.

Other than that I'm sure he has all sorts of redeeming qualities.

Don't bother, CBC keeps full-length recordings of all their HNIC games. You might need a canadian proxy though, but I can help you with that if you need.

Seriously stop with the Detriot sucks chant. No, you're wrong 4 cups in last 11 years. Ignoring the fact that this is the first time in awhile that Chicago is actually a competative hockey team where is the justification in saying a team that is the most dominant in the NHL today sucks. Chicago fans are so happy that they finally make the playoffs while our goals every year is to at leest make the conference finals. Today, in our most lopsided win the series so far we were missing our Hart trophy canidate, top faceoff man, and one of the top 5 defenseman of all time. But we suck eh? It's kind of like Michigan football thinking they have a rival with Ohio State.
