It's too bad the Pens didn't score on that situation, just so the league could be shown up even more for the futility of its officiating.

That was one of the worst calls I've ever seen made in hockey, just because of how long the refs let it slide.

Imagine how pissed Babcock would be if that turned into a goal.

Let it go. the game is over with. we all knew something was going to happen this game.

on to game 4 nothing you can do for game 3

The first 2 periods were perfect. The Wings were going into the 3rd period tied at Melon Arena; exactly what we wanted on the road. We just played the s***tiest 3rd period I've seen in a while. They outplayed us. The penalty on Ericson was a good call; Big E should have turned his ass around and looked at the puck.

I don't know what you're talking about dude. Refs don't make mistakes. You're fined!

esteef

It was pretty bad, but what are you gonna do. Refs and linesman are dumb, theres a reason most of them live in their mothers basements. (Oops, that's just the ones that used to ref my games a couple years ago :D, then again...)

the goal would have been called off immediately. when there's a huddle of 6 penguins and 2 closed gates. good no call "as the panel of experts" will no doubt call it.

Isn't the ref's decision on the ice final, so no video evidence would be able to overthrow the ref's decision?

Too bad the Wings DID score on the PP after they laid that blatant pick.

Worked both ways tonight, friend.

Yeah, kind of like us playing without our best forward, and your team "should" have played without your best forward.

You've gotten most of the breaks in this series. Your fans are just too stupid to realize it.

Well Congrats Bettcrap you get your LOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGG series. I guess the only way that Cindy can win is for the officials to be so one sided its ridiculous.

That last penatly that was a goal was so NOT a penalty and how about that 6 skaters for like 30 sec the linesmen was right ther between the benches how did he not see it? How many interfernece where not called against Pitts or how many crosschecks to the back or how many high sticks.

The boys played a good game and played hard...but its kinda hard to win when bettcrap has already deicded on the outcome of the game before it even started. It all goes back to Malkins non suspension since the league said they can't "afford" to be without a guy like Malkin in the playoffs...who cares who the guy is the rules cleary state that he should have been suspended. You can beat on if it was Krony or Lebda they would be suspended no questions asked.

Well Bettcrap contrats...you really f'd this one up. Way to show the world how cry babies always win over the hard workers and the true champions.

Like I said, I knew you'd have your excuse holstered in case of loss.

Again, the goal that WAS scored on a blown non-call was by Detroit. Did you have the sound turned off when the announcers were talking about the interference Detroit's gotten away with? That pick they laid on the PP should have taken a Detroit player off the ice there, and ended the man advantage right there. It wasn't. It worked both ways last night my friend.

The Pens won tonight for the same reasons Detroit did the other night -- starting with working to win face-offs. Conspiracy talk like this cheapens the discussion for us all.

This is not directed at you, but other posters.

This post was made by the same joker that was complaining about non calls against the Wings in the first two games, which proves my point, only the loosing team complains about the refs non calls/ calls. Be better than him.

I said Malkin should've sat -- along with Zetterberg, who threw a jab at a Pens' player before Malkin took a swing at him.

Don't believe me, go back and watch the replay. Zetterberg wasn't innocent in all this -- in fact his swing at another Pens player attracted Malkin's attention.

They both should've sat -- maybe you're too dense to realize that?

Just curious, but somewhere, anywhere is there actually a record of longest time a team has had 6 skaters on the ice before a call was made/not made. I get the feeling we all witnessed a record tonight.

Feel blessed as tonight was a milestone for referee futility.

You complain so much about picks but you also fail to recognize that every team does the same thing, even your precious Pens. Get over yourself dumbass.

The referees will probably be fined for that gaffe, so I'm not exactly worried about accountability.

They will be fined 25 jelly beans each.

Zetterberg facewashed him because someone speared Osgood. Malkin instigated a fight which is cause for a suspension. Facewashing is not a suspendable offense. Learn the rules.
