YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 Who is your pick "bud"? You seem to be Hollands right hand man. Who should we sign? To fill the hole of "takes stupid penalties, floats, drops the mitts twice a year, and will cost you a couple million"? No one.
Lovin Jiri Fischer 147 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 Anyone can score in our system dip s***. Why not a North American player that takes his gloves off to fight. You might want to remind our forwards from games 6 and 7.
Snazzy 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 I'd take Shanny or Fedorov back before Big Bert.

Guest Crymson Report post Posted July 2, 2009 I'm thinking Bertuzzi might be our best option right now. Strong power forward that won't get thrown around or be afraid to fight if needed. Injuries are a concern but what do the rest of you think? !@#$!@$^%!#$^ing assumptions!
ShanahanMan 473 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 I'd be okay with Bertuzzi for the right price.....say, 1.25 - 1.5 mil. He was solid for the playoffs in 07.
titanium2 867 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 Where is this?
T.Low 1,011 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 Also he doesn't fight that much... He picks his fights carefully... and when I say carefully I mean 'looks for someone 40lbs lighter, 6" shorter and facing the other way'. Goddamot Blakky, you made me spit up beer all over my dang key board! If we could sign 2002 Bertuzzi for 1.?m...I'd think about it. But the guy is such a s***. Why doesn't Iginla want him back? Redline 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 There is a reason we didn't win a Cup with Bert. Back to the bad juju, bad karma, ticken off the hockey gods, well, and the boneheaded penalties.

titanium2 867 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 I'm not sure, actually. It was one of those things I found floating around on the interwebz. A decent prank you could pull on someone with this statue is take a picture of them next to it and then send it to someone close to them.

Scotty 0 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 I'm thinking Bertuzzi might be our best option right now. Strong power forward that won't get thrown around or be afraid to fight if needed. Injuries are a concern but what do the rest of you think? I think you are crazy if you think that Bertuzzi is the best option right now for the Wings. That is what I think. kylee 727 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 bertuzzi already failed with the Wings just a few seasons back... why go down that injury ridden road another time?
GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 Why so much hate for Bertuzzi? Geez, from the way people talk about him, one would think that the guy ended someone's career or something.
RedWings Gone Wild 6 Report post Posted July 2, 2009 There are actually people out there that want Bertuzzi wearing the red and white again?... What the hell for? Don't give me that "no more sissy euros" crap anymore because we're not talking about a young/skilled ******, we're talking about an over-the-hill, more-usless-than-the-wimpiest-euro-ever, guy. The way people talk, it's as if they aren't cognizant of the passage of time... This isn't highlander, it's hockey.. No Pecas, Bertuzzis, or old men... we aren't a team trying to get over the regular season trails and into the playoffs...we're a team trying to retool to have enough gas in the tank to win a cup at the end of the day, instead of falling just short of it and clutching at our pacemakers.. and Bertuzzi will not help us win a cup...at all
Jibbajaba 14 Report post Posted July 3, 2009 Wow. I was pretty upset when the Wings signed Bertuzzi, and was very happy when he left. Why any Wings fan would want him back is beyond me. Was your TV busted when he was playing in Detroit?
GORM19 0 Report post Posted July 3, 2009 Anyone can score in our system dip s***. Why not a North American player that takes his gloves off to fight. haha bertuzzi drop his gloves hes got pillows for hands otherwords big *****
robb himself 143 Report post Posted July 5, 2009 after hearing about Holland looking for a "rugged winger with a scoring touch" the last few days, I kept thinking about Bertuzzi possibly fitting this role. I know there are a lot of Bertuzzi haters out there and I'm not a HUGE fan myself...but I do think that for the right price he could fit into the line up, especially if Huds leaves... just an idea... Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Cleary Franzen, Filppula, Bertuzzi Abdelkader, Helm, Leino Maltby, Draper, Holmstrom doesnt look to bad to me
