seems this part of the quote was left out: "also failed to throw a body check, lost numerus battles in the corner and a few more in front of the net..."

Dear Jiri. so glad you left, can you please stay in Russia forever? Thanks...

How do you know what else was said or left out of the article? Were you at the game or reporting?

No. Its just Hudler.

So glad I dont have to watch his small soft lazy even-strength sucking ass in a Wings jersey anymore.

The soft Russians didn't seem to have much trouble scoring on the tough Canadians at the World Championships though :scared:

the what? is that the tourney for guys who don't make the playoffs to resort to or something?

I'll agree he doesn't deserve the free pass like the guys you listed did. He really could've helped more against the Pens, but he seems to be the kind of guy who shoots his wad early in the playoffs like Franzen does.

Hmmm.. that is true and I never it never really was apparent to me. Hopefully Franzen can lick that problem.

The team in the Finals needed scoring... I would have been curious what Hudler could have done with more minutes - maybe nothing, but I'd like to see Babcock take that chance more in the future.

Bad mental image, but yeah. I'm sure it was all of the injuries this year, but no one stayed hot in this year's playoffs. Even players who weren't injured were sharing the ice with someone who was.

I can't say that I'd have given Huds more playing time over Mule or any other known scorer. Huds thrived with few minutes for some reason. We had chances late in the series, but they didn't go in. I'm over asking why.

People cared for Hudler because he was a member of the Red Wings, and some still do care for him or wish him the best in Moscow. And he did produce fairly well given his salary and time. Wasn't a world beater but produced decent the past two seasons overall.

Semantics on the definition of "care". I don't wish him ill will, but HIGHLY doubt he will be on the roster anytime soon.

Hudler could put the puck in the net on a fairly regular basis, he was also one of the most positionally challenged players in the NHL last season and in season's before....read a book or watch an instructional video on where your position is supposed to play on the ice in certain situations buddy, and while you"re at it ask Z to teach you how to backcheck...the KHL can keep him as far as im concerned.

Excep that he didn't really suck all that much like you and plenty of people overdramatize.

Yes, I get that he often didn't play 2nd line minutes, kill penalties, etc. for a reason/reasons...

LOL I guess the team that ranked 21st in goals against in a 30 team league all played their position perfect except Hudler.... :rotflmao:
