Gnredwing 10 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 I think Bertuzzi will have 25 goals this season. Do you guys think I am crazy or is that a reasonable number. How many goals do you think he will have?

TheDetroitRedWings 286 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 Somewhere between 20-25 sounds about right. Especially if he's on a line with Hank.
Carman 387 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 If he plays with Zetterberg and keeps healthy all season 25 should be easy.

BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 20-25... I'll say 22.
TheDetroitRedWings 286 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 14goals, he will be injured alot. See that's what I'm worried about too. I do think Bert will produce when he's on the ice. But how long before he's hurt again??? Here's hoping for a fully healthy season from Todd.
Electrophile 3,554 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 694 Nonsense. He will single-handedly break Gretzky's all-time goals record.
GMRwings1983 8,803 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 I also say 25. Hard to think that at one time this guy was pushing around 100 points per season, and was the most dominant power forward in the game.
SouthernWingsFan 854 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 Way to contribute to the thread. Welcome. In all seriousness, about 20ish.

Hard to think that at one time this guy was pushing around 100 points per season, and was the most dominant power forward in the game. Yeah how amazing would that be if he all of the sudden started playing like Canuck Todd Bertuzzi? Crazy that one's game can drop so drastically so quickly. topsideplaya 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 I think 18 goals 27 assists in 73 games played.
MadMan Mark 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 I'm going out on a limb and saying 30. Z will make the perfect pass at the perfect time and Bertuzzi will be the benefactor. I am really excited about the lines they have put together. This will be fun to watch.
waitahochiminute 2 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 18 goals 8,362,766,499 assists
rage 24 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 I can see him getting 30 this year. We've seen Homer do it.
cjm502 165 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 He has potential to score 35, but we know how lazy Bert is so I say 23. I wonder how many points he could put up if he actually tried?
C-TownWing 0 Report post Posted September 29, 2009 I think 18 goals 27 assists in 73 games played. IMO, the points are realistic, but I doubt he plays 73 games. Just a gut feeling. If he does play 73, I think you can add about 10 to each number. 65 points on Z's wing seems about right if he stays healthy for the most part.

I like Bertuzzi but I think people here didnt watch his Calgary season. While he played well, you can still tell he has serious back problems and is slow. Keep in mind he put up .67 ppg while playing with Iginla the Majoirty of the time and getting first team PP time. I think if we can expect the 2/3 ppg ratio, were good, anything over that may be pushing it. I think Z plays a bit too fast of a game for Bertuzzi to catch up and see him more as a good 3rd liner this year while ramping up points on the pp. Anyways though my prediction 64 games 19 goals, 23 assists
13dangledangle 968 Report post Posted September 30, 2009 (edited) I think if big Bert and Hank find a groove then he could pocket 30-33 this year...and if Clears stays on this line then he shows enough courage and spirit to give this sleeping giant a wakeup call! BeeRYCE 2 Report post Posted September 30, 2009 I also say 25. Hard to think that at one time this guy was pushing around 100 points per season, and was the most dominant power forward in the game. Subtract the Steve Moore incident along with back injuries, he would still be dominant.
Eizzo03 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2009 I don't have high expectations from him. If he stays healthy and manages to get 20 goals, I'd be happy. That said, I don't see him staying healthy and playing more than 65 games either.
