Berts turnovers.

Bert is a real grab bag. He can drive the net and he can make some excellent plays but a lot of the time he seems really weak on puck (like he's got puck repellent on his blade or something) and has bad turnovers like whoa. But he's being paid accordingly, and in general I'm pleased with his level of play.

good to hear positive stuff on Janik

Janik was surprisingly good. Positioned himself well, passed well and made the right decision. Was certainly impressed and he played more than Meech (who I thought played well too).

it would be nice to see ericsson and janik paired

Janik is a pretty offensive minded dman, and that is not what we need with Ericsson. Ericsson is very offensive minded and needs to be with a guy like Lilja, although I do have to say Janik played very well on both ends tonight. Anyways, can Janik be any worse that Lebda or Meech (who did not look that bad tonight imo).

Oh, I thought you'd heard. Osgood is notorious for not playing well in the regular season. Year after year we watch him suck it up and then flip a switch come April.

I saw somewhere that he had 390-something career wins and 50 shutouts but they were DEFINITELY typos.

Seriously, trade Osgood for a bag of pucks because I cannot watch him let in one soft post-shot every single game.

This team is too good for that.

ozzie was on tonight.

whole team looked good

janik looked good

trying to think of anything bad cant really think of anything!!!

leino didnt look like he played much. idk what kinda future he has on this team anymore. went from 2nd line to 4th

williams didnt look to great

hopefully we stay consistent and come out swinging against the sharks

keep it up wings!

Great 60 minute effort. Ozzie was the best player on the ice.

The 2nd line is lacking. Seems they are always down near Ozzie's end trying to defend and clear the puck instead of pressuring and wearing down the opposition's D. Williams isn't a good fit on the 2nd line, but since the Wings have so many injuries...

Helm - Draper - Eaves = Wow! This line should be called the "2nd" line just because they have so much chemistry and work hard. I thank Helm for that line, he's the glue.

Homer / Dats / Bert look good. Bert sometimes makes dangerous passes that fail... He should keep it simple and look for the smart play.

Defense was K.I.S.S = keep It Simple Stupid. The perfect "D" to help Ozzie get his shutout. That's how they should play every game... simple.

I don't think Janik had very many minutes, but he played a simple game. He didn't hold the puck long, he seemed to be quick to make the smart pass and let someone else figure out what to do with it. He played a very simple game to help relieve the minutes for the other guys. He was a good plug.

Leino was invisible for most of the game. Without Flip, he's pretty much non-existent. Maybe babs should try him with Dats and/or Zetterberg to help get him going. Leino's confidence seem down right now. He needs a spark.

All in all, great win.

Some supposed insider from another forum said Management had a closed door meeting with Chris to let him know they weren't going to go through it again this season. Also to make sure he hadn't fallen off the wagon again. It looks like ti had the proper effect.

This is the kind of post that if I were a mod (and yeah I agree, it's a good thing I'm not.) I would be tempted to bar this poster for a looong time.

Worse than an old woman gossip with the vicious, hurtful rumors and bulls***.
