Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 In all fairness, he hasn't looked as huggy this year as he has before... Fair enough, I'll give you that one. I guess his reputation has proceeded him with me
Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 So kindl is oficially in btw: Kindl, 22, will make his NHL debut against the Edmonton Oilers. “Kindl’s a real good player, he moves the puck really well, we think he can bring us that,†Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said. “He’ll play on our first power play tonight, because he has that kind of ability.†Link
newfy 695 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 Fair enough, I'll give you that one. I guess his reputation has proceeded him with me He has got alot better but still hugs more then I like to see in a fight. For that reason I'm hoping May goes with Strudwick or someone. Those out west teams always seem to have more then one person willing to go.

bonan78 1 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 Looking forward to a solid performance by Howard, really excited to see Kindl's debut, and hopefully the backup goalie for the Oilers (whatever his ridiculously long French hyphenated last name is) will break the curse of the backups looking like all-stars against us. 5-2 Red Wings Zetterberg, Leino (fingers crossed), Datsyuk x2, Abdelkader Kindl gets a PP assist and is -1 Who cares who scores for Edmonton, I can't really think of anyone who plays for them that isn't injured. Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 Deslariaes has been brutal in 3 of the past 4 games, we should be good enough to get 4+ by him, and honestly, we should.

The Mule 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 Sweet, this game is on CityTV... since when did they have hockey games Won't have to use the stream The guide on my satellite says no such thing, but NHL.com says City is airing the game. I don't know who to believe. Is there a different City TV channel out west or something like that?
servo 15 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 Deslariaes has been brutal in 3 of the past 4 games, we should be good enough to get 4+ by him, and honestly, we should. Thats what I was reading. If the team puts as many pucks on net as they did last week, I'm sure we'll get a few more! I hope they pummel them tonight!
hooon 1,089 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 Kindl on first PP? Wow. Best of luck to him! From what I've seen/heard, their backup goalie is awful.
cjm502 165 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 Their backup cant really be that bad can he? Looks pretty average, but also sounds like he is on a cold streak right now.
syntax 359 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 Damn, with all the injuries on both teams, it may as well be two hospital wards facing off. I hope Kindl has a great first NHL game and we destroy these f**ckers. LGW!!
Drake_Marcus 890 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 Should be a fun game to watch. The Oilers are crippled with injuries (sounds familiar, eh?) and the Wings need another dominant win to help steady the ship. I just read that Ericsson's got 3 of his 5 professional goals against the Oilers... and that's in only 3 games. I guess he just has their number. Here's hoping Ericsson picks a goal and an assist or two up tonight. I wanna see him grab 2 or 3 pts in this game. Lidstrom, Leino, Abdelkader and Datsyuk could all use goals too. Let's Go Wings! Oh, and by the way-- where did you read that Kindl would play with Stuart, Hockeytown0001?

Hopefully he'll get time on the 2nd PP unit.
Namingway 146 Report post Posted December 3, 2009 Ouch, looks like the Oils are suffering quite a few injuries as we are. This one should be an interesting game as long as the Wings don't make their backup goalie look like an all-star player. Let's hope they make Howard look like one instead Also looking forward to seeing Leino play with Dats. Wings 6 (Dats x 2, Bertuzzi, Zata, Lidstrom, Helm) Oilers 2 LET'S GO RED WINGS!!! Not only that, but my CI channel says a different feed is picking it up. If City screws me over, I will be royally pissed, they havent ever broadcasted a hockey game!
