sureWhyNot 19 Report post Posted December 10, 2009 i swear, i feel like i type this every game.... but we somehow have a knack for making every single little goalie who we face look like freakin Hasek or Roy. You are so right. I have wondered about this for a while - but ya, you are spot on. We make the opposition goalies look like golden gods night after night. That said, Conklin has been good this year - hell he was good last year, F*ck it though, I mean passing him over in lieu of Howard sticks to the sweet move theme - second only to letting Hossa walk. It's like, every time I go to say something really angry and loud about one of the players, I bust out laughing instead. I guess it's my brain trying to keep me from losing my goddamn mind. I hear ya. I wish I could step away from the game to clear my head, but I have trouble NOT watching the game. I guess I'll just continue to suffer along with the rest of you. Lidstrom is one of the greatest D-men to ever play the game, but apparently isn't that great at standing up in the dressing room and saying, "f*** that guys, that wasn't good enough. Wake your asses up and get it together." What's Lidstrom going to say? He hasn't scored since like 2003, he can't hit the net and he's been lazier than normal on defense this season.
