Gordie Howe was just here in Kelowna BC a couple weeks ago signing autographs at West Coast Authentics and he was charging a minimum of $100 per autograph and just like everyone else.... the store was taking 95% of that fee...ive seen this place do it many times with many other players

Right, and this article is about the price for an Ovechkin autograph at an event, not after practice/game. Don't be a moron.

Ok, so if the business is collecting the money that is being charged for the autographs (prices outrageous), how much are they paying the players to show up and sign? Obviously the players are generating a ton of revenue for the business, and I doubt players would be interested in just doing that for free...

lol news flash... when you see a player at a signing it is never free!

Zetterberg charged me $65 for his game used stick to be autographed... and he is nowhere near the star power of ovie!

And now you can charge for your autograph billing yourself as "The Man Who Met Henrik Zetterberg".

You'll have your money back in no time.

Crosby doesn't charge. Then again Crosby is a better person.

Lmmfao

When this gets called out too often, Carman will then turn around and say it was "just sarcastic".
