Pretty much everyone with a driver's license that drinks has driven when they shouldn't have. Maybe not over the legal limit, but certainly impaired to some degree. And not even just alcohol. I'm not saying what Cheli did was OK, but I find it very hard to believe that everyone condemning him so harshly has never driven when they shouldn't have at least once ^ This. It isn't right, but is certainly not uncommon. And I don't need any lectures on possibly getting DUI's, whatever else. Chelios f'ed up. He knows it, probably feels bad about it. He shouldn't be castrated over it. It sucks but there's no point being angry at him forever at it. Yeah Yeah I know, but what if he killed somebody, they won't forget or forgive him, yadda yadda yadda. If this somehow makes me a bad or a stupid person......well, I'm sorry. (or mine did after i had surgery) also told not to take prescription medicine(cold medicine) and drink alcohol shortly after.. which there are people that do this not caring, like people have said about those drinking and stil drivng. Totally. I can't even tell you how many people I know that mix alcohol with cocaine, xanex, vic, oxy, acid and who knows whatever other BS. It was amazing to me once I got to really know some people just how many people mix drugs and booze. Stupid. It's pretty funny when there's a 26 year old hockey player standing next to a 47 year old hockey player, and it's the young guy who looks soft and out of shape.
