Lebda: The "gift' that keeps on giving

Come on Already!!!!!!!!!!!! Lebda doesn't practice with the team does he?? What is Lebda doing shooting pucks in practice anyway??? Homer was most likely in front of the net...how did Ledba hit the net with his shot???...strange.

Okay, after yesterday's incident with Lebda's shot breaking Homies foot...I have a theory on what is going on. (Plus, he was horrible last night...give away -after bad pass -after blown coverage).

You heard it here first:

The Red Wings organization has a Chicago Blackhawk sleeper cell amongst it's ranks. That's right: Chicago native Brett Lebda this off season signed a ultra secret agreement with former Wings brass Scotty Bowman to make every effort to destroy the Red Wings from within. Scotty promised Lebda that when the Wings made the inevitable decision to trade him and no one else signed him, Scotty would give him a job in the Hawks ticket office. That's right...sleeper cell. Double agent. Could he be tampering with equipement to cause injuries to our players as well?? Dulling skate blades when no one's looking?? Spiking Lila's water to cause headaches?? Feeding Ozzy with negative thoughts?? I'd watch him with a very close eye(s). Polygraph?? Chinese water tourture?? All of the above??

Is it possible in pro sports to have a player deemed as a negative asset. Meaning: his contribution has only the possibility of negative results.

How else do you explain him?

This actually makes perfect sense.

Since Lilja's still on the IR indefinitely and Sammy's gone, I guess someone else had to pick up the slack in terms of breaking our own players.

Toward the bottom it spells it out for sure.

Derek Meech's stock is officially higher than his by a longshot. Doug Janik's is like comparing the local coffee shop to Starbucks.

Why this guy would not be scratched when the first of Kronwall or Ericsson return, and then waived when they both return, would be totally and completely beyond me and an absolute waste at this point.

Happy trails, Brett Turnover.

nobody wants him, nobody likes him, and you can't get rid of or destroy him no matter what you do...lebda is holiday fruitcake!!

also, i like the bit about his nefarious chicago connection. sort of like "Oliver Stone's Lebda" (rated R)...

Lebda was passable playing with Cheli. Cheli is from Chicago. Lebda is from Chicago.

Cheli is now playing for Chicago (AHL).

Lebda is trying to be reunited with his mentor.

But the Wolves are Carolinas AHL affiliate. Maybe Lebda has some more evil tricks up his sleeve...

they're Atlanta's AHL affiliate

That's it. We trade Lebda for Kovi and they can send Lebda down to the AHL to play with Cheli.

It's perfect except for the tiny detail of getting Atlanta to agree to the trade.
