How is it that the 'War Room' in Toronto can change the rules of Hockey any time they feel like. I thought that unless there was conclusive evidence to overturn a ref's call the on ice ruling stands... especially when it comes to goals.

Totally ridiculous to lose points in this manner.

can't say im suprised..... Good job Detroit for once again not winning the important game you f***s.

Yeah since it was the Wings fault that they got screwed over by Toronto yet again right?

It was still anybody's game. Sure the Wings played better for the first half and not the 2nd half but could you blame that last BS on the Wings?

The Stars needed that extra point just as much as we did but obviously Toronto was the one that decided who wins and who doesn't today.

i dunno, it thought the ref that was STANDING RIGHT THERE probably saw where the puck was pretty well

The Red Wings got completely screwed. The rule states that there must be 100% DEFINITIVE EVIDENCE to overturn the original call on the ice. Not ONE replay showed that puck was CLEARLY over the line. And the ref's call was NO GOAL. The NHL is a ******* joke. Utterly disgraceful.

Y;know, we have instant replay to STOP the bad calls. How many times now have we been screwed over on instant replay?

This. The Brad May goal. The Hossa goal. Homer against Anaheim.

I'm lost for words.

I'm assuming FSDetroit didn't have access to the conclusive replay. Because the ones we saw certainly weren't.

FSD just said they talked to Dallas' media people and they said their angles don't show a goal, either.

What happened to "if it's not conclusive"?? Did Toronto think they knew better than the ref who was 2 inches away from the puck and waved it off like crazy?

BULLs***. Every point is so huge.

However, Wings played pretty bad in the last 2 periods and OT, and their SO attempts were weak.

so far hasn't the league admitted once to us about calling the wrong decision. LOL so Toronto and the lead ref called it inconlusive and no goal, but the 2 further refs called at, that makes sense.......
