After the past 2 games against the Hawks, scoring a goal would be a major accomplishment.

For now, I have Niemi starting in goal for Chicago. He started the 2nd of back-to-backs in the last game against Detroit, as Huet had started the previous night as well.

Wings will win 754 to 1.

If you're talking about going head to head with Pittsburgh in the "How many ways to get screwed by the NHL" contest, then yes.

Lets hope so.

We also need the Joe to be rocking today. We need them to be our 6th skater.

This is the night when Pavel wakes up.

5-3 Wings. Pav with 3, Hank with 1 and Helm with 1.

Based on recent play by these teams I think it's a fair assumption that wings get shutout or lose badly...Not that i would want to see that happen but you can't look away from the stats...wings never play good on back-to-back and this game is at noon, the legs won't be there

4-0 Hawks.

The Wings need to win this game since it is their makeup game on the Kings. A win puts us in a tie for 8th seed. I don't care about Chicago since they are so far ahead. Regulation or OT I don't care just pull out a win.

And I will be surprised if Ozzie isn't in net. Game goes to a shootout and was very physical on everyone including Howard last night, I don't expect him to start a game less than 24 hours later.

This is so important. I wish the fans would get it. The team feeds off the fans. I really hope the Joe is loud today.

LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!!

This is the game I'm waiting for - Detroit needs to win this one...

Looking for some cheap shots, May is going to kick Eager's ass...

Detroit with the win 3 - 1

Dats, Lids (PP) and Cleary - Sharp

Thank Goodness this game is on NBC. I can't be home, but I can tape it.

Wings win this one.

Wings 5: Bert with the curlies; two dimes fall out of Niemi's pocket and Kane rushes in after them forgetting that he has the puck; Helm with the EN.

Hawks 1: Byfuglien

Edit for spelling.

Anyone have recommendations on parking today? I'm kind of scared since the Auto Show is going on.

Usually we just park at Greektown Casino for free and take the People Mover, but I have heard that sometimes when there are events going on they charge for parking.

I'm coming from Ypsi-Arbor.
