Guest Howard He Do It?! Report post Posted February 26, 2010 Why isn't it on primetime TV later on in the evening? That would be better for TV ratings. People have other things to do Sunday mornings than watch hockey. Because the 28th is the last day of the Olympics. The closing ceremonies will be taking place during primetime. Serapth 3 Report post Posted February 26, 2010 How the hell do you, as a player, stay modest in interviews during games like this? God I hate this moronic chick CTV has doing Olympic coverage. Its overwhelmingly obvious shouldnt doesnt know a damned thing about a single sport in the Olympics.

MCleveland89 122 Report post Posted February 26, 2010 OH PUKE, BUTTMAN!!! What a douchebag. "NBC hasn't decided if it's coming back either." Don't try and put the question off on someone else. The only thing we as fans are worried about is whether we'll see the NHL players playing. Not whether NBC will cover. Man, I can't stand him.

The vast majority of us think he is the actual anti-christ. Suffice to say, I hate his ******* guts too... Actually, even if it wasnt for all the s*** hes done to hockey, its the fact he is obviously a two faced weasel. If I worked with him, I would hate him. I feel bad for the Finns...poor Flipper. Oh well, they still can get the bronze, and an extra game will be good for him before he comes back.

NBC doesn't even have the rights yet to the 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia. They only have rights to the 2012 London games, and after that, a bidding process will take place. Fox, ESPN/ABC, or whoever else could snap up the games. Regardless, hes showing how out-of-touch he really is.

Jersey Wing 1,521 Report post Posted February 26, 2010 I gotta say I am VERY proud of these young Americans. Even should they lose the gold medal nobody expected them to play for gold and certainly nobody thought they'd beat Canada. With 16 out of 21 on the roster being 25 years old or younger, and with the success in the World Championship the USA could be looking to make a major impact internationally for a long time (Or as long as Ryan Miller draws breath). I never had much use for Brian Burke but he did a GREAT job putting this team together. He didn't throw some all stars together, he built a fast yet hard hitting sandpaper-y bunch. They just said Mike Ilitch was at the games today, that's great.
Hockeytown Red Wings 245 Report post Posted February 26, 2010 (edited) Ilitch is probably at the game because Rafalski wants to re-negotiate his contract. Hey, at least Tim can say he played in the Olympics now. Edited February 26, 2010 by Hockeytown Red Wings

MCleveland89 122 Report post Posted February 26, 2010 That's when you know you're awesome. You've played so good, you get to sit out and take a break. He's been great this entire run. Also it's a slap in the face to Finland. You've been doing so bad that the USA can put their backup goalie in because you've posed no threat. GO USA!
