Reffing in this game is a fkin joke, orpik holds on to koivus stick, no penalty. but finns cant get away with anything.

Officiating hasn't been great, but that's the least of Finland's problems today. Take away one of USA's 2 PP goals and they still dominated from the moment the puck dropped.

This game, was over when the game was 2-0 and the lion was put in its gage, but still no need to multiply the buttfu#¤%ing with

bulls*** calls.

I never said there was. Just simply that it was the least of Finland's problems.

Officiating is rarely "great" but more often than not it doesn't change the outcome of a game. It certainly didn't this afternoon. That was my point, nothing more.

Guest Howard He Do It?!
i thought so. my next question is, if the shutout stands who does it go to?

I think you have to play the entire game to get the shutout.

This is like bitching about a girl giving you a cold sore after she already gave you AIDS.

Maybe valid, but definitely pointless.

Oh please. Nearly 70 percent of that building is red and wearing a maple leaf on their chest.

Thats a bit of an exaggoration.

Anyways, I'm not saying the crowd isnt against you, i'm just saying its the entire world, not just Canada! :D

The commentators mentioned how many Team Canada fans were there. It's far from an exaggeration.

Exagerration? Hardly. I have HD tv, there were Canada jerseys everywhere. Now, I couldnt see the upper bowl, but if the representation of the lower bowl is similar, I say 70% is fair.

Apparently nobody could get off work and drive 2 hours from Seattle to cheer on our national team.

That doesnt mean they were Canadians....

Hockey games are the premium ticket item in the Olympics, maybe second behind figureskating, if... There are bound to be a lot of internationals in attendance. Also, don't use the red as an indicator, apparently HBC Olympic clothing is flying off the shelf, and Oprah apparently is partly responsible.

Let's not use red hockey jerseys with maple leafs on them as an indicator of how many Team Canada fans are in attendance.

Again, as part of my its an international crowd, these tickets were sold YEARS ago, before anyone knew what teams would be involved. So, you can't really blame the Seattle-ittes, as they wouldn't know the US would be playing today.

Your HDTV is much much much more HD than mine, as I am not seeing that. I see a fair bit of red ( maybe 25% of the audience ), but all them being Canadian hockey jerseys... no.

All told though, its a really silly argument.

You're not great at picking up people's sarcasm, are you?
