Took a while for the Wings to get their legs going. They looked better in the last 10 minutes but the weak-ass penalties kinda ruined it.

Couldn't decide after watching the first period if the ice had melted or if they were all just playing very, very carefully. But the Wings did pick it up toward the last third of the first. Sure hope to hell the penalty calls start evening out.

You can sort of sense that both teams want to not lose more than they want to win.
